Bailed with my 444. Ready to jump back in And my estimate is a dip down to 440 before closing above 455, but it is very erratic at the moment.

Just add/buy any decent dips.

Looking good for a close above 444p

Grabbed another chunk at £4.42, will add further on dips. Bull run looks pretty convincing now; easy money to be had here IMO.

Yesterday's trading update confirmed our prior view than the project award outlook is robust, and that Petrofac has ample opportunities to win the $2.2bn of new work required to underpin our 2018 revenue forecasts; we see at least $3.8bn of awards that it is wellplaced to win due for award imminently."....

Big numbers in the auction, good end post market. My 444 target may get blasted and much sooner than I thought. If so, I shall have to write a strongly worded letter lol.

All indications are a very rapid retrace to the 500s, I think I am going to be cautious with the shimmies in and out as big dips could easily stick for a while.

Happy days.

The weight of shorting from the disclosed shorters (as per FCA spreadsheet) came off considerably on Friday and Monday. Absent any late disclosures, NET additions to the total disclosed short position up to and including changes on Monday have been:

16th Jun: 0.33% (AQR and WorldQuant)
19th Jun: 0.30% (AQR and WorldQuant)
20th Jun: 0.18% (AQR and WorldQuant)
21st Jun: 0.12% (AQR)
22nd Jun: 0.16% (AQR and Blackrock up, WorldQuant down)
23rd Jun: 0.00% (no changes)
26th Jun: 0.03% (AQR up, CapeView down)

AQR is now at 3.82% vs its 3.94% on Wood Group (as of 23rd June). These 2 positions are by far AQR's biggest (as a % of share capital of company being shorted) on the FCA spreadsheet.

So with WorldQuant and CapeView both having reduced, and AQR already in relatively deep, maybe some evidence to suggest we might see net reductions in total disclosed short positions before long.

Excellent close, parked just above 435p and should get a good crack at 444p, if so, should see 455/60p fairly quickly.
