i hate trading. can't bear watching screens but have a quiet week and have been in and out 3 times. increased my holding to 7k from 6.5. i think i'll stay put. i will have funds to buy ano 10k tmrw and then i'm going to sit on my hands.

Bakunin,

I have a core holding from 353p for a long term hold, hoping if all goes well to X3 the investment, but also trading in £20k buys on dips.

Many factors in play but interesting that 4 brokers are positive, with price targets, substantially higher than present levels, they must be confident that their won't be huge damage if found guilty and fined. Lots to look forward too.

By trading this, one risks missing out on a possible takeover announcement.
Only Asfari knows if he is guilty in any way.
If he is, then one would think he would be taking takeover advances, ie 600p min. target. Merger synergies and market power would dwarf any eventual SFO fine.
If he is not guilty, then the SFO won't pursue this beyond a few months and we get a 800p target.

435p was from a previous technical info post a short while back but certainly a break & hold above 444p will provide strong positive upside momentum

The gap will fill very quickly if we get a takeover rumour.
Strange that there are no murmurings after 1 month down at the current levels.

Where does 435 come from?
It has failed at the 443-446 range three times on a 15 min chart

That's how the markets can go, pays to hold & add on dips if you feel this one is heading North. The broker buys are moving this, closes above 435p should see a base build for the next target 506p, would help this move if oil can move up too.

The market never fails to surprise.With yesterdays bland RNS I was sure we would see a slow slide back below 400.But three legs up in a hour today - each with higher volume than the previous one.Hope it tests and breaks the 443 peaks of the last fortnight too.Or at least holds on to todays gains.Exciting time.
