For example, during the restructuring of Norwegian Air Shuttle (NAS), previous shareholders only got about 5%. The rest went to investors who invested fresh money. There, shares were trading 3-5 times higher until the last moment, although the facts were already known. Surprisingly, retail was probably hoping for a miracle) But charity rarely happens here.

If a D4E was inevitable then surely yesterdays RNS was the perfect platform to reinforce this message?? But did they...

If you read the RNS it clearly states that they are reviewing 3 options all of which were known by investors prior to the RNS.

So what was the purpose of Yesterday's RNS, was it to remind us all about what we have already known for some time??

For me this was a deliberate ploy by PFC to derail the share price, but why??

Could this possibly have something to do with it...??
"It also continues to be in discussion with prospective investors and certain major shareholders in relation to potential further investment in the Company"

I have been in this game a very long time and have seen it all before particularly in this Sector. I smell a rat and it stinks of a hostile take over!

MARK MY WORDS...

Monday expected to have further lows until next RNS....then it may be off a cliff as they are on he edge!!

Just watching now after getting out just in time yesterday as the rise yesterday was not linked to any RNS or deal... !!!
My Crystal Ball was Foggy so glad I sold Yesterday...Phew!!!

What is the expected Low Next Week???

Shorts prematurely closing or an incoming low ball offer behind today’s come back?
Interestingly no FCA shorts closed yesterday so didn’t cause that rise.
From this morning’s RNS …..It also continues to be in discussion with prospective investors….
Can interpreted many ways.

We require a d4e which will be significant. And close / UT is above the earlier quoted prices Something funny going on here and it isn't the invite to Jaknife's retirement party

We are going to have a major d4e. The question is at 22p , 26p or 4p.

It is only money , we all want to make our lives and if you have children their lives better, money gives you optionality not happiness, in takeovers it is ruthless if you want to acquire something you want it as cheap as possible every tactic is used , as all will be a distant memory quicklySo what ever your stance , just consider what are you willing to risk for the reward and do not bet your house on it either way, stay in the game , sleep well and be comfortable on the outcome as you made an informed decision , your choice. Appreciate peoples views and opinions they are a gift , dyor , I have done 100s of hours , why because it's my money.Ultimately , take a stance or wait on the sidelines but good luck Be kind no need to be discourteous All the best

The alternate view is that the Lenders just want their money back

Triggering a massive dilution for existing PFC shareholders ??

Well I have done various calculations based on the discounted cash flow $8bn and predicting 20% of the 60bn pipeline , now you have to assume and take the lowest calcs, even if you discount further it starts with a 2Now that wont happen , AA the founder bought $38M at 115p Now enterprise value £1.20ish but have a feeling hostile he wont be happy circa 80p , RNS imo wanted to halt the rise , acquire more , plus looks like a deal All in my opinion Good luck

There is two ways gecko you either offer pre the restructure , this allows you to control the outcome based on the acquirers balance sheet and you could be in a better position of strength to negotiate if you are an Adnoc for example Or Post offer as its all done for you but you then have lost control Either or depending on circumstances Wish you all the best

Armbar I couldn't agree more this is going East and in the very near future.

The Big Question on my mind is for how much??

I worked a few valuation models and you can argue somewhere between 70p - 90p but I cant see Ayman and a few of the bigger investors being happy with that considering the $8bil pipeline.

Will be very interesting to see what it go's for.

Regardless I will continue to add and wait for the goose to lay it's Golden Egg!

Can’t deny today’s unexpected price resilience either.
Never thought I’d say it but smells like a low ball cash offer to me?
Also explains yesterdays rise, today’s unexpected
price slap down and weird book activity combined with price resilience.
It’s also the only possible reason why they wanted to slap the price back down with an unnecessary harsh RNS.
Ticks all the boxes.

Someone will want $8bn backlog , $60bn pipleine , DCF, TenneT contract value alone to PFC circa $8bn

Why if they 're barely profitable?

Tennet contract value may be $8bn, but what's the profitability of said contract?

The 9000 employees , expertise , technology in hydrogen , wind and carbon capture , all mainly built in Uae , Research Andoc , Masdar , Uae sustainability programs , Petrofac connections and you will see why I say this will end up in the Middle East

Which can be scooped up on the cheap POST the restructuring!!!!

Why pay over the odds now, with all the debt issues??

After today’s unnecessary news this should be trading below 20p? - But it isn’t?
Stayed above 24/25p am and then after US opened a really odd enormous iceberg order (?) 20m+ appeared on the bid side of the LSE L2/3 book for a few seconds then disappeared and we motored up?
Something weird happening here and it’s not PIs.
Wouldn’t want to be short with this odd buying activity.

Someone will want $8bn backlog , $60bn pipleine , DCF, TenneT contract value alone to PFC circa $8bn , wind scalable solution with global demand. The 9000 employees , expertise , technology in hydrogen , wind and carbon capture , all mainly built in Uae , Research Andoc , Masdar , Uae sustainability programs , Petrofac connections and you will see why I say this will end up in the Middle East But that is just my opinion. Small projects , BP thunderhouse $5bn Or Total Yamal LNG $27bn , Shell Mars B, Some elements are clearly the expertise of others and sub contracted out but these are not replacing a small tank and have a significant element of EPC in house Anyway what do I know Well lets see what happens next two weeks will it be a D4E 4p or bust like most say or something significantly more positive JV, TOToday RNS is for a reason imo GL all
