Total Off Topic "RAMP"

I've held shares of "Tremor" for an extensive period, enduring significant losses that I've mitigated somewhat through additional investments. The company has undergone a rebranding to "NEXXEN," with its ticker symbol changing to NEXN. Despite encountering challenges, like many in its industry, it remains a promising prospect for the future, akin to the proverbial "Jam Tomorrow."

NEXXEN has engaged in several share buyback programs, yet the stock price hasn't responded as expected. Legal disputes with "LG" regarding technology and Alphonso had been ongoing, but recently settled out of court. Projections indicate positive performance moving forward, highlighted by todays announcement of clearing long-term debt in full ($100 Million) and approval for an additional $50 million share buyback.

While it may not appeal to everyone's investment strategy, in my opinion, NEXXEN (NEXN)warrants careful consideration and multiple assessments. Last year, the company rejected a takeover bid around £11 per share without consulting shareholders, indicating confidence in its higher valuation. However, the current trading price stands at £2.00.

DYOR. Buy IMO as solid an investment case if ever there were one.

It's certainly within anyone's rights to take positions, whether long, short, or even indulging in gambling like spread bets and CFDs.
However, the pervasive arrogance emanating from those who opt not to engage in genuine investment through tangible ownership of shares is truly astounding.
Their dismissive comments, insinuating superiority by suggesting others have become enamored with a stock (as if they possess some secret knowledge), or implying that only others endure sleepless nights while they remain unscathed, are both laughable and infuriating.
Labeling a stock as a "slapper" yet treating a single press piece as gospel further demonstrates this hubris.
While Petrofac makes commendable strides, instead of receiving regular updates, we're subjected to the incessant pontifications of those who claim to possess superior insight.

Could it be news this morning?

PFC = STRONG BUY

I’m not short and have never shorted anything. I enjoy sleeping at nights so never want unlimited exposure.

No one will be more delighted than me if PFC emerges as a good buy but imo it’s odds against

Ggggh. I have a lot of respect for your bond knowledge and openness, but the sudden appearance every time the share price rises suggests long bonds , short equity. This is your prerogative of course, but would be better to be clear if you are short equity...thanks.

A highly dilutive d4e at 22p, which is 450% above Jaknife's projections. Then newco will be highly attractive, as will the enlarged share base given we will have a pipeline north of 9 billion heading to 12 to 15 billion by then

Once more, we're treated to the same old tale of "I'm the enlightened one and you're all just plain wrong."
And, as if that weren't enough, he tries to bolster his vacuous arguments by pointing out where a measly 10% can be located.
The fact is, most of us are here precisely because we're aiming for much grander percentages.
Honestly, the arrogance of assuming superiority over the rest of us is truly cringeworthy.

PFC = STRONG BUY

Ghhghh I have a risk reward profile that I am comfortable with , my purpose is the board for several months swamped by D4E 5p, covenants broken , bond restrictions , admin and bankruptcy was all a guarentee blah blah , which were clearly a narrative created by a short position and needed a alternate view.Whilst I take on that information as its a gift , allowing further research for a balanced view, some info is very relevant though which I take seriously So I appreciate PFC could end up in a D4E at what level who knows conversely they could secure what is required to have a bright future and a share recovery Now PFC could offer incentives on releasing of the collateral as I have mentioned by various means , also demonstrate DCF, growth potential , alternative structures , PE, etc Valuations on DCF interesting like an EV valuation for JV and TOWhat is very intersting is the connection to Uae and Adnoc , and the PFC value, a risk is an acquirer will use all kind of tactics to get as cheap as possible.Could they force a default , maybe maybe not , hostile , share swaps but it wont be pretty if a takeover happens, ayman et al will have their interests first which is some help I believe to shareholders.Contracts keep rolling in with more due.No doubt PE sat there waiting to strike if the opportunity presents itselfBut thank you and have a good day I am not in love learnt that lesson many years ago, and that trust certainly looks favourable for sure.

You make many good points but where I think you are most wrong is your assessment of risk reward, especially versus opportunity cost.

PFC is risky, there is clearly a significant chance of a highly dilutive equity raise.

Why take this risk when you are spoilt for choice elsewhere. The Investment Trust sector offers a stunning risk reward as in very little risk (since trading at big discounts to tangible assets) but maybe over 50% mid term upside. Plus a near 10% dividend.

I'm afraid you have committed the cardinal sin of falling in love and I fear that one morning you will wake up to the awful realisation that your beautiful golden haired princess is actually a D4E ridden old slapper.

Caveat is this is my opinion 11.2% plus of Hedge funds disagree DYOR PFC not out of the woodsPlus if any takeover is in play it will not be pretty, acquirer will want it somehow as cheap as possible and all tactics dirty or clean will be an option

Couple of snippets why I think Adnoc Adnoc chief executive Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber has highlighted the UAE's ambitions to become a key LNG exporter on the back of several gas-focused upstream developments, including the multibillion-dollar Hail & Ghasha sour gas project.Estidama project has 8 packages PFC and consortium won 2 , 3 has been awardedAll 8 commissioning by Q3 2025PFC awarded the co2 injection and recovery Habshan Package 4,5,6,7,8 to goAll about in country value Uae Petrofac receives the Gold Seal for creating sustainable impact in the UAEResearch Estidama and its importance to the Uae , research job vacancies for PFC Uae , PFC is intrinsic to Uae and AdnocThis is outside of all the other projects eg TenneT, Algeria selected , BahrainAll research is in public domain just need to spend time researching

The proposal includes a request for Petrofac bank lenders to release a part of their collateral. That prospect is now being discussed between the parties involved, although not all are entirely satisfied, means they are close, lets see how amenable they are, guess first choice if possible resolve the challenge as is which would contribute to a higher bond price , if all fails followed by the other options. Now the above could be a tactic in a TO to improve pfc financial position , negotiating leverage to potentially increase shareholder value , probably what Ayman Asfari and Co would like Now interesting it should be strategically timed the collateral piece to coincide with or precede any take over discussions for maximum impact So a method to negotiate against say a low ball offer and improve the offer price. Could be wide of the mark but very interesting all the same. GL

Indeed Dealy especially from very well versed and experienced BOD and founder , makes you think they would have seen the transformational year $8bn backlog and TenneT cash flow challenges ahead, could have raised if required at 70-80 10months ago The first contract and upfront payment was an issue , delay with the German and Dutch state with the 25Bn loan did not help either, plus delayed payments like Thai oil but now near completion. TenneT one and two secured , two await guarantee , interesting this special situation fund in active discussion to take a non controlling stake part of the portfolio , maybe it is the TenneT 6 contract or the EP division, Cash injection , many ways to reward the investment , and this would unlock payments and remove challenge RCF, Bonds not until Nov 26 and onwards with the 60bn pipeline 8bn cash flow.Unless Adnoc step in JV or a takeover at these levels def a possibility. If not and an Apollo cash injection JV future would look bright for a share price recovery Interesting PFC not reporting on the Algerian $1bn upstream selected last week maybe just crossing T and dotting i Anyway we await GL

when the dust settles on this, the following points should be reflected upon:- why did this cash crisis creep up on the company? After all, they raised equity just 2.5 years ago and at the time, it was considered enough- was the debt level too high at time of issuance?- has the company flagged these risks early enough to all investors?- why has it taken 6 months to actually address these issues (still not announced and maybe not addressed yet)

RNS is required updating the market on Success and updates on progress.

Potential is huge especially as shares become cheaper then the upside is massive.

given the strong order book and the fact that each month certain milestones are generally met, I have the feeling that time is on the side of the company and that the cash situation is likely to be improving every month. It's now months since the cash-fear started and it is likely that the balance sheet already looks better now than back in November. Time is on their side
