01/11/2016 08:53 | A wise decision IMO. Might follow you in ahead of results | trentendboy
01/11/2016 08:51 | Back in at 4.32, surely it can't go any lower before results. | heliweli
31/10/2016 10:46 | During the current lull in proceedings before the trading update, I though I'd repost Edison's August note for anyone interested. "Paysafe reported strong underlying growth and better than expected profitability in H116. Guidance for FY16 has been raised, driving our estimate upgrades (normalised EPS +7.1% FY16, +6.1% FY17). With the integration of Skrill now complete, the company is free to focus on developing its service offering via technology investment and potentially more acquisitions. The stock continues to trade at a discount to its peer group, despite its strong growth and cash generation." | melf
30/10/2016 01:01 | Don't forget JL allowed a big slug of shares o be sold short via the EF deal ..... shorters keep it real ..... In This case I suspect they will get hammered | ramas
29/10/2016 12:38 | Personally I am looking forward to a great update in a little over a week on the 8th Nov - as we have already seen with PAYPAL the sector had a great 3rd qtr. The narrow Bolinger Bands and share price profile looks strikingly similar to the period just prior to the announcement of Skrill acqn and a 35% stock rise. ... then you add in the fact that JL and co are doing "Roadshows" in qtr 4 - I guess there is some big positive news coming..... as for the short position - AEK have called it wrong since last june...nuff said | wolfhound1
29/10/2016 10:03 | The Juggler. You are right in what you have posted. But I think it is going to be a Fund Manager who has lent the shares out. They earn a comission on the lent shares. I think shorters distort the Market.Shortes have brought many a good Companies share price to the the bottom rung of the ladder. I am not too botherd at the moment as I feel the share price is still in an uptrend, if you look at the long term chart.I am still in good profit. I would like to trade this but I don't.News of T/O or a J/V can come at anytime. I don't want to be out when that happens.I Let the share price do it's girations I am invested for long the term. I don't use a stop lose either. Have a good weekend all. | matrix25
28/10/2016 18:18 | I saw this on another thread on Advfn this week. Basically if you put a "limit sell" say at £7 on your PAYS shares the broker holding them cannot lend them out to shorters - if everyone did this it would certainly make their position more difficult! | the juggler
28/10/2016 17:37 | Short postion has increased to 3.76% on PAYS now. The shorters bringing the pricee down?? Another Co. has joined forces with AEK now. ATB. | matrix25
28/10/2016 16:34 | Good to hear it Reddave | jarega85
28/10/2016 16:05 | Trump will need cash so he'll legalise gambling everywhere! Brill for us! | jarega85
28/10/2016 15:57 | Don't think there's much uncertainty Verger. | melf
28/10/2016 15:55 | And then there is the minor point of a US presidential election. No doubt all stocks will drift down until the uncertainty is cleared. | verger
28/10/2016 15:40 | No nervousness here Jarega85 despite one or two on here trying to unsettle us, like you I am fairly confident that we will reach £5 or higher. We just need to be patient | reddave999
28/10/2016 15:29 | Uhhhh! You can sense the nervousness in some! "Should I have got out!" and "Should I get in" as well as the "Big news is right round the corner" thoughts going through some minds undoubtedly!!I'm still waiting to de-risk at £5 (or higher if a takeover bid comes in!!) and looking forward to hearing the trading update. The sectors doing poorly as well as the market in general, but as always I'm happy to ride the good with the bad!!Long term, I'll get my £5, de-risk and wait for the £6bn gorilla to be created with my remaining investment."Show me the Money!!!!" | jarega85
28/10/2016 15:06 | It always trades offered before data so that market makers can pick up cheap stock ahead of data. | mannymif

28/10/2016 14:40 | I very much doubt it heliweli. PAYS' share price has a habit of doing this in the lead up to results and trading updates of which, there hasn't been a bad set/one in recent memory. Par for the course methinks. | melf
28/10/2016 14:36 | would like to think a decent Q3 trading update will help underpin the share price DYOR but next week's moves will be interesting ahead of the 8th IMO...a decent RNS update and it will still be compellingly under-rated vs its peers IMO....again DYOR...happy to hold for 8th and beyond | qs99
28/10/2016 13:00 | Maybe insider's know already. Hence the drop. | heliweli
28/10/2016 12:52 | I think what we will also hear is more on GOLO rollout strategy and more colour about how Income Access and FANS were strategic purchases to that end. JL spent CAD$30mn in acquiring Income Access to buy a database of users by post/zipcode - and you have the digital marketing expertise to convert that to a user base....... Retailers will form an orderly queue to be on GOLO if you are giving them access to potenially Xmn users in a large city in their post/zip code - and as a bonus you only cost 50% of the competitors. I think the roadshows post the 8th Nov will be abut explaining that story to the markets - and as that business grows it will lead to a natural re-rating of time. | wolfhound1
28/10/2016 12:35 | Yep, if for instance they say that they are on course to beat expectations for the year it should have a positive affect. If they were to say (and let's hope) that they expect to materially beat expectations then it would have a very positive affect! They have already upgraded guidance for 2016 several time. | melf
28/10/2016 12:21 | i think any positive trading update will help boost the share price in someway | stockbob
28/10/2016 12:13 | So the trading update is much less significant than the August results and thus likely to have less effect on the share price whether good or bad? | scooper72
28/10/2016 12:02 | Not results - just a trading update for Q3. | melf |
