The news today seems to have a calming effect:

After considering Ofgem's provisional findings and feedback from its clients and retailer partners, PayPoint has voluntarily proposed to Ofgem the following positive commitments to remove certain provisions from its contracts and to provide additional support to vulnerable energy customers:

-- to remove exclusivity clauses from its current and future client and
retailer partner contracts in relation to the provision of
over-the-counter and digital energy prepayment services

-- to make a GBP12.5m donation to Ofgem's Energy Industry Voluntary Redress
Scheme (currently administered on Ofgem's behalf by the Energy Saving
Trust)

Q1 report is, on first reading of a fully detailed report, showing progress on many new fronts and away from from its legacy payments business. The three months period has no summary or comparison in a fast developing revised business. Looking good

You can't accuse the management of sitting on their hands. Their efforts have increased prospects for the medium term.

As we begin the new financial year, we are already seeing some encouraging signs of continuing renewed activity in a number of areas of our business, in particular in card processing and parcels. We are also encouraged by the early performance and rapid integration of i-movo and Handepay/Merchant Rentals into the PayPoint Group and the new opportunities arising from the recently completed acquisition of RSM 2000
