Quincha - depends on the provisioning figure and how it is justified, together with any hedging movements (positive or negative) which may impact.

Suspect somewhere between 10p and 13p EPS to be honest. Hardly makes the shares look a steal in the current climate.

before tax
Q1 7m
Q1+Q2+Q3 31m
so at least the profit should be 40m
compare to 53m(37.1m after tax,tax rate 30% ???) last year
28m /207.3m(share)= 14p

earning per share is 14p. correct me if I am wrong.

There's still very few lenders lending to people to buy, so the likelihood of a sustained rally in property is slim imho.

Good for PAG

1. Improves the value of security held - so less write offs
2. Makes less people able to afford purchase - so increases demand for rentals - so less borrowers go into default

Results date should be issued any day - that should attract the attention of many.

.. and I wish I hadn't sold some at 112p - but when I had been down 70% it felt so good to be able to offload some a t a profit!

Still got enough left to maintain my interest in this!!!!!!

I wonder when the next set of nil paids will be given to the directors, and whether the exact criteria for their issue will be released to the market?
With all the talk about new tighter regs, you'd think this might be their last chance, so I expect to see them handsomely rewarded.

I think someone suggested these might fall post inclusion and i think that might be true). i sold out very recently and would consider buying back in if the share price was much lower.

I suspect not to be honest FF, but something is brewing.

The position of many landlords has weakened markedly over the last 18 months, whether this has had an alarming or just awkward impact we will see in the none too distant future.

No doubt the board will pick up hods more nil-paids for their sterling efforts.
