Argos Resources (ARG)

- Nobody cared when oil was 40 USD, it is now close to 100 USD
- No new oil fields are being found
- It was almost a decade ago that we had the exploration in the Falklands
- The area is still highly prospective for oil and gas
- What wasn't of interest at an oil price of 40 USD is now interesting at 100 USD
- MARKET CAP IS 3.64m GBP (BOR is double that...well it was until yesterday when it increased 140%)
- For the price of a new car you could purchase 1% of the company:)

NGMS - I have no hard information either way regarding 1 or 2 frac units. However, had I been involved in risk assessing this, I would be considering the possible savings of only having one unit, and assuming all went well and the times of each operation meshed so no delays occurred. Against that, if either operation, but particularly Theta West, was delayed while waiting for the frac unit to be freed from the other unit. You would have the day rate for the Nordic Callista, all the involved service companies and equipment and daily overheads for the entire operation to set against the cost of an additional unit. It would not take many days delay before 1 unit would be a false economy. And always the concern about the weather cutting short operations.

I think after last year's disappointment at Talitha, it is more likely that the BoD will play it safe.
