THE YOMBO CHRONICLES (I think the more perceptive of you will have realised I am he)

LOUTH TO SEAFORD - A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS.

I did laundry, cleaning and other mundane tasks on Tuesday. Wednesday I took my relatively new duvet and bed linen to the launderette to be cleaned and returned 'home' (a nebulous concept in my world) and started to pack, but both of my much ridiculed bags (by Lizard anyway) irked me, the rucksack lacks a laptop/tablet sleeve and the large EVERLAST lettering on the holdall offends me, and I simply could not be bothered with carrying my belongings on and off several trains for the next two days, so I extracted a few essential items, plus the clothing I intended wearing for the trip and took the bags, my remaining belongings, some unused cleaning materials and the newly washed duvet etc to the nearby RSPCA shop.

All I retained was; a t shirt, shorts, socks, trousers, fleece, jacket, hat, scarf, gloves, boots and a small wash bag (pictured below with a 330ml cup for scale the Alan Rickman book having been given to a friend)

The only reason I retained the wash bag was it contained my excellent head shaver and charger which I use every two days and which wouldn't comfortably fit into the cargo pocket of my trousers, the bag also contained the usual associated items, plus a camping fork/knife/spoon utensil, and reading spectacles, one minor problem however was my 10" tablet (5G so it's also my phone) didn't fit in the bag, so after being dropped off in Lincoln I called into CEX, sold the tablet and purchased a phone (I will do the reverse in Brighton) which along with it's charger fits comfortably in the wash bag.

I catch a train for an overnight stay in Fulford, York, where I enjoy a superb meal at Marzano's and a visit to the Minster, my t shirt, shorts, socks are washed in my guesthouse handbasin and dry overnight (hiking gear designed with this in mind) in my hotel I placed an order with Craghoppers to be delivered to Seaford some time today (I hope) I also ordered two resistance bands from Physio Supplies.

Thursday a torturous trek lasting almost four hours, changing twice (I must confess I felt a perverse delight watching other passengers encumbered with huge cases/holdalls/rucksacks while I was on and off with ease carrying only the wash bag, a Guardian and a 500ml bottle of water) why do people burden themselves with so many s
possessios, it's ridiculous?

Arrived in Brighton, went for an indecently large Full English at Bill's, purchased a 25lt Berghaus backpack from Black's and caught the bus to Seaford arriving at my accommodation for the next few months late afternoon.

Easy work, no removal vans, no paying for storage, one pack, one life, freedom (I didn't coin that but it's an ethos I both embrace and recommend)

In the realm of trolls, a cupcake named Fred,Sat on a train, filled with dread.Waiting for wisdom from a lizard so grand,But Cupcake's impatience was way out of hand.Oh, Cupcake, dear, with your trollish ways,Your words were offensive, causing dismays. You yearned for a reply, so witty and smart,But alas, all you got was a poem, a tart.Tired and weary, on the train so long,Your own fault, Cupcake, for playing it wrong. The lizard, it seems, had better to do,Than entertain trolls with a worldview. So here's your poem, a lesson to learn,Humility's key, it's time to discern.Next time, be kind, not rude and absurd,Or face more poems from the wise, mocking herd.

Crude, clunky iambic pentameter, written in an infantile 1, 2, 1, 2 rhyme scheme (1, 3, 2, 4 is far more pleasing)

Anyway that's my critique of your appalling 'poem' what is your opinion of the two Lizard images I've produced today?

Olderwiser2!I hope that you like this poem:In the digital realm where trolls roam free,A psychophrenic loner, full of misery. On an iPad perch, they scheme and they play,Trolling shareholders in a sad, futile way. With cunning remarks and a keyboard so quick,They thought they were clever, oh, what a trick! But along came an owl, wise and profound,A sage in the market, with wisdom unbound. The owl hooted softly, "Patience, my friend,Long-term investments, they're the real trend."The lizard, worldly, with a knowing grin,Whispered, "Foolish troll, your games won't win."As the market danced and the shares took flight,The troll was left in the shadows of night.Outsmarted, outwitted, by creatures so sly,A lesson learned as the wise passed by.GLA LTH'ers!!

But wait .. you wrote:

'Back to your irrelevant ignore cage now, where you and Kitty can shout loudly at each other'

Yet you saw my post advocating your suicide, how did you see that if I'm supposedly filtered OWL (I'm assuming that's what you were implying with 'ignore cage' ?)

I can recommend it because you're clearly a deeply bitter and unhappy man and I also consider the world would be a better place without you.

With that in your back story, how on earth did you ever consider it reasonable, to post your recommendation of suicide to me.

Forgive me if I disregard your advice on life, whilst you obsess over the trivial.

David
Bob, did you say we've added a billion barrels of recovererable oil, but which on David's plan. Just to be clear it's not my plan, it's the company's plan, would be worth 5 to10 billion dollars to shareholders is that correct, and if it is.
Bob
Yeah
David
Then shouldn't that be considered a huge win, This is your opportunity to smile
Bob
Yeah but the answer is yes, you know we we we picked up some very valuable acreage, and you know we it's very rare that you get to pick up 40,000 acres in an accumulation up dip, from where, you've already proven you've got light oil.
So yes it's good news

Yes Kitty I have noted the significant (and very welcome) reduction in their respective posting frequency, they both repeatedly claim we are nothing more than a minor annoyance, easily ignored .. but it's blatantly obvious they fear us.
