Jay remains CEO you putz. Hobbs has deep respect for what Jay and the team have achieved and it's natural to assume that the 2 men will have very distinctive roles which will benefit shareholders in both directions. Upgrade in the board => upgrade in the share price.

Pro (Sandcrab) claiming a couple of weeks ago he was long at 17p and making £15k each penny it moved up. Well it’s fallen since his alleged buy. Make what you want of it but he’s an absolute tool

It's great not just because Hobbs is a great communicator, an expert on the Company's assets and a persuasive advocate for how to narrow the massive gap between the share price and value of those assets, but this is doubtless the Board (finally) responding to the shareholders' deep frustration with the share price performance no matter the continued success in building out that asset base. A bloodless coup?

Mmmmmm I would be more worried about the current Chairman running away.........that does not bode well him leaving abruptly imo......why ? does he know something ?

If I was David, I would be a little concerned....... going from Non-Exec to Exec means he is under a very different role and responsibility imo. Lots and lots of DD to do..........

Excellent news!

David is just the right person to drive this company forward. An excellent oilman who really understands the complex geology of the acreage - as much as anyone can.
