The resource that sold that the bulls talk about......had around 16 wells in it......appraised, proven and then sold for a few bucks a barrel.

PANR would need to drill a load more (say 10) wells into Alkaid and flow test and prove the appraisal process before they can start thinking about 3$ a barrel selling price imo....

Good you end with ‘imo’..... imo.

You know very well that the low-ball offer of $3.10/bbl was due to the resource being ‘stranded̵7;. To extract that oil requires billions of $$$ and years of constructing the infrastructure to transport it. That’s why it was bought for ‘only a few bucks’ per bbl.
So what if it had been adjacent and under the TAPS pipeline?

Go on Pro, tell us $3.15.

If they intended raising £10m for the SMD, it is a pity they didn't raise at 34p rather than 17p
Is a farm out at Alkaid even realistic in view of the problems?

East Texas had what....... 6 wells in it..........how did that go ?

Or should we not mention Texas......... LOL :)

You think anyone believes 100% whats being said and rumoured and theorised at the moment without taking it with a very large pinch of salt ? IMO......big pinches of salt needed.

Forwood there is a small winter drilling window. Imho Panr bod wish to sell up sometime next year. I believe their program if successful will allow that.

john henry - I'm aware of the plans, but most sharehodlers want them to go with a smaller raise at this time.

The farm in price, or lack of, will reveal real oil industry thoughts on PANR license areas.

They have had no difficulty raising cash from existing shareholders in the past, and I don't expect them to have any difficulty now, assuming we are going for a relatively small amount c £10m.

Padamaster - succeeding in sounding ignorant by being completely unaware of financial conditions in the world's largest economy. To be fair it very much is a second order problem compared to oil dribbling out the ground at a rate that a man with a bucket could keep up with, but nevertheless it will be an unpleasant surprise when the raise is done at a level that will make holders considerably less wealthy overnight.
