Who knows why adxwasere thinks anybody would be in the slightest bit interested in his views....let alone the fact that he is flouncing off with those worthless views. I am far more interested in johnswan's views tbh. He has clearly and evidently demonstrated that he is not clueless....

Excellent post, copied from another site

"Some thoughts and figures:

(i) IMHO there is virtually no chance of a major oil company doing any form of investment into PANR at this stage. Any major will prefer to wait until, at minimum, there is attractive oil flow on Alkaid/SMD so as to justify an investment. In this case why would the major not go for the whole company? But the major will demand more than a pound of flesh and this could mean huge dilution for the shareholders in PANR. Fortunately the BoD does have 100% control which gives the Board some flexibility.

(ii) It is far more likely that a medium sized oil company (or other investor) will be interested in a farm in on Alkaid/SMD provided the assumed c. 500 million of recoverable oil is proven and will be producing at least 20,000 brls per day based on perhaps 10 production wells within 12-24 months. In theory Alkaid/SMD should be worth $3-5 billion, even taking into account a 15% royalty payable to SoA. Assuming the farm in partner agreed the lower valuation for a 50% interest (ie. $6 per brl) PANR should receive $1.5 billion. It will have to set aside its share of the CAPEX, let’s say $500 million for the CAPEX on Alkaid/SMD which would leave PANR with $1.0 billion in free cash to prove up and bring into production the other resources owned by the company. On this basis PANR would receive gross proceeds, after extraction costs (say $30 per brl and using a market price of $80 per brl), from Alkaid/SMD of not less than $60 million per annum."

Adxwasere seems you have finally accepted your fate, that you were totally wrong about PANR and now sat on big losses.

I take this from your now arrogant attitude towards JS in the posts this evening.

A lot of longs must admit it, they were completely wrong to hold from highs all the way down to 17p.

And of course, it could easily go much lower. The market cap could easily halve again, which would take PANR down to below 10p.

Why ? Because they have no long term production, they are running low on cash and to prove up their so called wonderful license potential, they need to spend hundreds of millions more drilling at least 15 to 20 appraisal wells, with successful flow tests imo.

This means their current positon is extremely weak (and likely why they may not even bnother to try to farm out - as they know they will most likely be royally screwed into a very very very lowball offer imo).

Interesting weeks ahead to the end of June.

Adx you are wrong. I was a shareholder for a long time with average purchase around late 30s. Scot didn’t like that I took a more conservative view than most on here, but I maintained it was a value investment. He also didn’t appreciate my expertise in certain areas he claimed to know a lot about and this caused him embarrassment numerous times (e.g. how hedge funds operate, Alaskan tax credits). His behaviour after being fact checked proved him to be a character of low integrity with very poor moral values. After all the issues following the TW drill I became increasingly uncomfortable with my overweight position, selling the remainder after the management team sold theirs - I disclosed this on here at the time. I sold out later than I should have, but fortunately managed average sale price in excess of 100p. I still believe they could be successful and that current price is attractive for risk/reward, but I felt far too many people were dangerously over-optimistic. I’m sitting on the sidelines for now but still interested despite my lack of trust in the management team (primarily due to the timing of their sales and refusal to address this or accept the role this played in what occurred afterwards by providing the short sellers a perfect platform to build off). I wouldn’t begrudge any shareholders their gains if they come before I get back in.

Oh hasn't he just, and your point? Anyway I'll leave you all to your death spirals and the boards scared to reveal anything conspiracy theories. I wish you all luck. If it doesn't pan out I'll have lost money, but I'm good at the moment. ;) It seems like it's just a hobby for some people now. Looking at you John. Lol Anyway if anyone does post anything useful here please do let me know. Adz
