...hence it will have to be a discounted placing below the current share price.

Have a re-think about that. You are intimating that no company has ever raised funds at a premium.

Jaknife can you find any quote of mine saying no funding is required? By the way I’m long

JakNife, 'It wasn't so long ago that the longs were adamant that no fund raise was necessary'. That is an outright lie. Watch JC interviews prior to Alkaid results. JC has always stated funding would be required for the winter drill. That has always been the case irrespective of the Alkaid drill.

The house isn't on the market yet though and no viewings have taken place yet...could well go to sealed bids when the doors are opened and people have look round.

Pro. I don't think the data room is open yet?

And yes... If you put your house on the market at 400K and monody buys it.... It means your valuation is wrong.

Are you capable of sensible debate? No, you aren’t.
If my house is on the market for 400k and someone offers 375k i would highly likely take it, but i wouldn’t accept 200k.

Nonsense. They could be in discussions with a potential partner and still raise funds to test the SMD.
You ought to be aware that these discussions can and do go on for months, whether it just be for Alkaid or the whole portfolio.

They have a data room open and looking for farm in partners.

So if they raise money with a placing or death spiral convertible loan we know there is no farm in.

And yes... If you put your house on the market at 400K and monody buys it.... It means your valuation is wrong.

The rise.... JS194.... Will be controlled imo by the farm out... Or lack of a farm out.

If the industry views all the data and says.... No thanks not farming into that..... Then investors would perhaps be stupid not to do the same as the big boys.

More fkin nonsense.

Pray tell us, how would we know if anyone is not farming in? It’s not something that would ever be announced unless, as has happened, management refuse a low-ball offer and tell us.
Before you tell us a low-ball offer is a true assessment of value, if you had a house on the market for 400k and someone offered you 200k would you accept the offer?
No you wouldn’t.

Just to add - whatever funding is landed on it would mean those funding/lending believe in a return via believing in the story - simples

Which is underway, plenty of options available you would assume, with enough money in the bank to test the smd at alkaid 2, what's not to like.

Simark - not sure any of the shorters have read one of the last RNSs on what they are trying to achieve in terms of funding and it’s not necessarily a placement. Or they choose to forget that key funding option to meet their needs. Be very careful 😊
