If I was BP I would say - "didn't you notice that we pulled out of Alaska in 2019". Hilcorp were the buyer. The only majors left in Alaska are ENI and COP.

Echoridge - of course I don't know for certain the future. All I can do is estimate the future based on known information and analogues from the past. I don't understand an investment process that doesn't involve some attempt to do this.

Yes sure, I will take your recommendation that echoridge is "sharp as a tack", Total Return. Now can somebody please vouch for Total Return?

Don't recall saying there was anything wrong with working in Curry's. Maybe your tack needs sharpening?

Ohdear, echoridge is not a bedroom analyst. He is a former City investment banker and is sharp as a tack.I used to deal with him. Secondly what is wrong with working for Curry's?

As you have obviously thought so much about it Echoridge, go for it. You are CEO of BP for a day (as opposed to a bedroom analyst). Give us your best terms for a farm in. As you say, PANR will reject it (even though they will have no money left) - but give it to us anyway.

The main thing is, Where did this (convenient distraction) sideshow conversation about someone farming into just Alkaid start in the first place? The discussions have been, are, and will continue to be, focused largely on a farm-in to all or most of the entire acreage. And without the slightest exaggeration, I can tell you one thing, you snarky muppets: even a deal the Company rejects for being insufficient and/or they have superior funding options that allow them to continue to retain 100%, would make a complete mockery of this (temporarily) distressed share price.

"It’s very obvious you know absolutely nothing, your dialogue is dreadful, you know nothing about the subject you are trying to comment on, what’s going on in that boiler room."

Is that what you are saying you would say to PANR mlf51? If not, as CEO of BP, what terms would you accept? Maybe your answer will demonstrate just how much you know about PANR. Of course your failure to answer will confirm what most of us already know.

I know most of the bullish folk on here are either retired or work in Curry's, but let's play a bit. If you were the CEO of BP - what terms would you accept to farm in on Alkaid?

Hi hpcg, what choke settings, produced fluid rate and water cut do you think the well has at the moment? It would appear that nobody can make the claims you have made without this information. Also specifically why don't you think 8-10000 laterals won't work? You are throwing out a lot of technical predictions without even realising you don't have the information required to make these predictions with any confidence.

There is zero chance of a farm in on Alkaid, which is the only field pertinent right now. Production from #2 won't reach 750, it will top out less than 650 and decline from there as the light fractions decline. I don't know how long that will take as the well hasn't been under steady production for any length of time. The pressure build ups will make the decline more precipitous.

The economics for a co-investor would be, by definition worse than for Pantheon, and they are pretty bad for Pantheon. The better the deal for Pantheon the worse for the investor. The only way not would be to give away a share for nothing. This doesn't achieve a lot, but could theoretically be essential to get funding to critical mass. It just wouldn't fly with shareholders though, so I think can be discounted. So Pantheon is on its own, and that means some form of equity funding.

Bad gateway, perhaps you missed my comment regards I now the differences in the reservoirs. Well you obviously did cause you have then highlighted the difference in reservoirs. I have studied the Pikka deal and numbers in great depth. Break evens for Pikka are similar to what Pantheon/LKA are modelling for Alkaid/SMD. So perhaps not that bad a comparison. What you have actually highlighted is that given there are 7 wells on the acreage, few more long horizontals can get us to similar levels of appraisal as Pikka and drive similar or better valuations.
