Thanks Andy, it rather looks to me like Arris is aware that the E6000 is ahead of the game in terms of hardware-intensive Ccap & has seen an opportunity to capitalise on that prior to a (seemingly) inevitable move to a cloud based solution. Encouraging to see that they openly acknowledged they were working on it back in 2014, but I just hope that they have as good an advantage with their next evolution as they currently do with E6000, which has been a significant contributor to improving the margins & countering the stb side (I think!).

And yes - little sign of an uptick in memory!
