Stunning Faceless Mural by Seth Around the World

French muralist Julien Malland aka Seth (previously featured here) has traversed to the far corners of the world, leaving his faceless urban tapestries from China to New Zealand and beyond. Seth’s murals are symbolic of the unfinished stories and forgotten identities of the memories they represent, and more so of the skin of the walls they adorn. Each building, location and street is deeply immersed with history, trauma and human interaction that has eroded with time. Seth’s art seeks to re-explore the emotional tales left untold at the scenes as his obscure figures watch reality unfold.

My bet is that we won't see $30 dollars again until after April next year. Xmas out of the way and then lets see what Q1 of next year looks like. Probably need two Q's of consistent numbers at or above expectation and a positive looking outcome without caveats before this takes off again.

Surreal Colored Pencil Sculptures Inspired by the Sea by Jennifer Maestre

Artist Jennifer Maestre creates exquisite, otherworldy sculptures compromised by colored pencils. Inspired by the movement and shape of sea urchins, each piece seems to bloom and float in the air gracefully, as they would in the ocean.

Slide 4 (Key Integration Initiatives) of today's Charter 3Q call shows a nice chunky bar between about 2Q17 and end-2018 for "Complete all-digital in L-TWC & L-Bright House footprints".

Fundamentals are looking good in my view.

Some interesting statements so far. Next 5 years will see massive upgrade cycles due to DOCSIS 3.1 and fibre infrastructure upgrades.

Well they still have the authority.

As far as I can see they had $300M authorisation (from Feb 16th) and so far have bought:

6.4m shares for $150m (which I make $23.44/share) in 1Q
0.0m shares in 2Q (warrant negotiations underway)
1(.0?)m shares for $28m ($28/share) in 3Q

So they have $122m left from the original authorisation and if there are no further warrant negotiations underway (AT&T or Liberty Global anyone?) might well have been looking to buy the current dip.

Those 1Q repurchases currently look like a good deal!

With no dividends paid then now is a good time for ARRIS to buy back shares and increase shareholder value.
