Nickelback - What Are You Waiting For? (Audio)

MT,

I think RS was quite clear that there are a number of claims to be dealt with in which case that statement doesn't necessarily hold true.

If all of the claims have to be heard before the final announcement is made, then the outcome of the last claim is what drives the overall timing of the process. The panel will not want to award £35m one day then 3 months later claw back £22m followed by further awards or clawbacks depending on the outcome of each.

I believe that we are just waiting for the last claim (s) to be cleared up for an announcement of the overall outcome. Only my opinion though.

Good morning GS

Rather more buys so far today than sells though volume is small and share price down a tad.
The long wait for the arbitration outcome adds credence to the view that OXS has been successful as a negative outcome could presumably have been given more easily months ago though all imho.

GS,

very little in life seems worthy of not being ignored by you. One day you have to be right. You may not have heard of the word 'credibility'. It refers to how much belief people have in what you say or write. It gets eroded the more and more 'incredible' things that are written or said. You and Stig are sounding desperate.

apf, apart from the producing bit it is easy to forget that Khandiza offered
up billions of dollars of in-situ minerals, and it was thought they probably
had ten similar projects on their 5,600 sqkm licence area.

Skez. Also a big difference is OXS had an operating and profitable mine and processor, smelter, etc, which they built and paid for.We were a fully operating gold miner, with a confirmed jorc of over 3.5moz gold, and with exploration upside estimated to several times that ammount. This was all in one of the most prolific areas in the world for Gold, a world class asset.Although CHL do have a massive asset, and likely will make good profits from it, they had not got as far as building a mine or any processing infrastructure, all of which costs many millions. That is one of the main reasons our case should be stronger is we sunk almost £80mill into the two projects in Uzbek, and were a fully operating producer who was planning to increase production from 100,000oz Au upto 300,000Oz Au per annum. We were cut off in our prime Churchill however hadn't got that far. Both arbitrations should be won, I wouldn't like to guess the award figures at this stage, but to think about the percentage of any claim to be awarded, OXS should command a higher percent of their claim, due to how more advanced they were as a producer, not just an Explorer like CHL.

the main reason for the difference between us and CHL is that we have been active for so many years -- CHL not as long.

GS,

Volume looks fairly mixed, not sure how many leveraged hands would be left now, its been quite dull over the last few months the last real volatility for traders would have been late April early May. Might be a few getting bored and moving to faster movers. Risky strategy at this stage of proceedings as OXS would outpace them all on the right news. At least volume is picking up a tad, like others I thought it would have been stronger as CHL is busy and by all accounts OXS is much further advanced. I guess the news when it comes will catch many unawares especially if outside market hours.

Regards,
Ed.

I suspect nervous overleveraged hands as GS has said .. few people really understand how to sensibly play a reward/risk opportunity and get nervous because of downside overexposure that they can't actually afford

Yes, volume pickup is noted - now 2.683m on aim, 568K on isdx

Perhaps a few over-leveraged hands are touched

Greetings GS

Fair number of sells. Strange as I should have thought that this is a co for buying and holding if one takes the chance as to a +ve arbitration outcome or steering well clear if not?

Good to see some early morning volume in Oxus, 625K in 30 mins

From the small opening decline, an intra-day reversal and advance
may catch a few napping. As always, interesting times ahead.

Awaiting merits and quantum.

DT1010, not really, because although OXS is important to me as a result, I wouldn't lose sleep if I lost the lot.Because.... its been a 5 year, slow accumulation funded by GVC dividends. OXS represents 8% of my portfolio. But on a 'win' could quickly become 50% or 0%. Its best to buy shares in OXS, and then immediately write the value down to nil. For peace of mind if nothing else!

$400m seems totally unfair compensation for nicking a $50,000m resource !
