27/11/2009 12:21 | sorry guys & gals It would seem that I,m not a major lottery winner of the Nigerian lottery and i,ve been scammed, I sent then £295 to verify my details and then sent some more So it would seem that I am a mug I would have thought loyal OMH shareholders posting on this thread were intelligent enough (unlike me) to realize that I was being scammed and would have warned me which would have saved me some dosh. Never mind | honestypays

24/11/2009 10:25 | Encouraging posts as I have a large position here.........! | whilest2
24/11/2009 09:34 | Thanks for that NY. Nice non-technical, commercially-focusse I agree with you re OMH now being relatively 'low risk', with an emphasis on the relatively! My guess is that with CG in charge they will get the financing done but the bigger challenge will be whether they can get large numbers of instruments placed and even larger numbers of tests purchased (i like the razor/razor blade comparison btw, never heard IVD described in those terms before). I've only the most superficial knowledge of the IVD business but it seems to be fiercely competitive and dominated by the likes of Roche, Boerhinger, etc.. I guess that OMH won't find it easy to break into this market in a significant way - but the potential rewards are so large if they do that i'm happy to hold a small position here. | johnwall

23/11/2009 23:58 | I think you will find fund raising efforts are already well underway and I have full confidence Christopher Gleeson and Jon Faiz Kayyem will more than be able to make OMH a commercial after this round of successful fund raising. See new presentation and ambitions. As before, in my humble opinion, we are at a stage where the tech is validated, instrument base set up and growing, test menu being expanded and we are at the low end of the risk spectrum when you consider a small and "risky" play like Osmetech. But we are past that and just need that further round of fund raising to get us to full commercialisation potential. Interesting they have identified and see competitors as being Luminex and Nanosphere - and as I shared here, Nanosphere recently raised significant funds. Also, the surprising bit is AD-8 which is to be prototyped by H2 2010! Onwards and upwards. All the best. | ngen yap
23/11/2009 19:08 | more tree shaking dont worry chaps | marvin9
22/11/2009 12:13 | Despite Marvin's odd illiteracy, I do suspect that he may be right about how they will raise the next tranche of money needed to keep this pile out of the receiver's hands. The money must have almost run out, and are they selling? | whilest2
22/11/2009 10:46 | Yep but i fear more pain to come first in the form of a consolidation. Its what they usually do to dilute honest share holders funds in the cycle of this corrupt scam of a company. They will then issue further shares to there mates on the cheap, but to be honest i think most investors have gottten used to this same dirty trick they pull time and time again to dilute honest share holders, you can only roll out the begging bowl so many times using the same scam before even the thickest get wise to it. This time around i fear they will fail and I see there mates stepping in as planned to take out OMH for pennies, because lets face it they have never tried to put together a sales strategy. Its all been about wine women and song and the money has been blown accordingly by our directors. AVOID TD WATERHOUSE, ANOTHER BUNCH OF ROBBING TW&TS | marvin9
19/11/2009 20:15 | Glad you find it funny ? | gerry2
19/11/2009 20:09 | Hi Jerry How big is your OMH loss now? ROFL ROLF! | bangers
19/11/2009 15:09 | PMSL PMSL troutisout-17 May'07 - 11:23 - 22076 of 30579 Freddy, there may be some truth in your thoughts, but I wouldn't think anyone would accept £60m, I would think Instis would want at least 35/36p for their shares (based on a basic 2x placing price). In all honesty I would think there would be more than one interested in us and with the XT-8 and warfarin tests due for FDA approval within months I would expect the bidding to go a lot higher.
