14/11/2009 20:41 | Marvin Yep I noticed that today, tried to purchase some today and couldn't the MM's don't want to sell them to me. Something must be going in the back ground so I tend to agree that this may rocket | honestypays
14/11/2009 19:36 | The share is looking very steady today, no ups and downs like during the week. Maybe things will now improve and the share price will rocket? | marvin9
12/11/2009 00:08 | 150 shares bought @ $58.95 on the US market (OSMEF)... | freddyfrog
11/11/2009 19:23 | for what reason? but as usual you have no answers | marvin9
11/11/2009 10:33 | There is no market left in these shares - try and sell a few k's and see the price plummet - so we are all locked in and whatever financng deal is done (and it will certainly hit the p.i's) we will have to bite on the bullet and hope like lottery users that some trick of fate will bring the technology to commercial gain. In the meantime Marvin will continue with his dance of doom and he may well prove right. But that is our casino - we were the volunteers.... | whilest2
11/11/2009 02:27 | Ngen Yap and others Been here 10 years ago all hype. It is just a meal ticket don't waste your time. You may be new but Omh is not going anywhere. Ex holder no grudge, not short. Don't waste your time and money on this. | daveperry
11/11/2009 02:14 | Thanks Roobarb36. Yes, a good video and representation indeed. I agree with your sentiments. I am a bit more hopeful that we will get there - just need to cross this last financing hurdle I think to cover 1.5 years, as after, I believe the business results will ease/better justify further rounds of financing for acceleration of growth. | ngen yap
11/11/2009 01:09 | Ngen Yap Have not looked at the Osmetech website recently but it seems to have been updated as there is now an excellent 6 minute video presentation by Jon Faiz Kayyem. If you have not seen this yet take a look...... Impressive stuff. What a pity having spent years and years struggling to overcome all their technical hurdles they got there at the very moment the credit crisis was starting to bite which destroyed any chance of a Nasdaq float last year. Any hope of a smooth transition from the research and development phase to the commercialization phase was shattered at that precise time and the company along with its shareholders have been on their knees financially ever since. With banks not willing to lend to anyone, even established companies with proven track records they had no real option left to them but to issue yet more stock just to keep the company alive. Shame really | roobarb36
10/11/2009 23:19 | johnybag your 10 years behind in this scam, trust me mate move on dont waste your cash on Dave Sandiland, he is as bad as it gets. | marvin9
10/11/2009 11:16 | What sort of pr does this company have? This award news is not the subject of a RNS nor a promotional release as yet. No wonder the deals piddle and the share price sags. Marvin may be proved to be right here. The market not exploited, no cash but good and valuable ip. Smells of the possibility of a sell out at the expense of the pi's. | whilest2
10/11/2009 07:57 | Ngen Yap - thanks for that. It does seem that XT-8 is technically very good - the big remaining question is 'can they sell it?'. Having CG on board makes me feel a bit more optimistic about that than i would do otherwise! As you say, they will need a big fundraising in order to give themselves the best chance of realising the commercial potential. Let's hope there's an Open Offer for existing shareholders as well as a placing to Institutions. | johnwall
10/11/2009 00:50 | E-sensor XT-8, winner of another award. There is no doubt we have a top class medical diagnostics device and it is the main growth sector in healthcare. We just need to get sufficient funding to realise the commercial potential of this and not be bought out on the cheap. It is worthy to note Nanosphere which launched their Verigene earlier than Osmetech has recently raised $35m in a public offering. Their trading is being caught up by Osmetech and likely to be overtaken by year end at current rate. If they can raise that dosh, I think Osmetech can too. And with Chris Gleeson on board, and with share warrants that are triggered by $20m+ fund raising, I won't be surprised to see a big one by year end. And before anyone comments on this, the warrants are exercisable at 2p. This is also the price Chris Gleeson invested $1m of his own money. Let's see..... | ngen yap
08/11/2009 21:13 | Well with the credit crunch and no money about it will be as i have stated for the last 2 years. This will be sold off for next to nothing to there mates whilst they get the sneaky back hander for a job well done. If anyone cares to read back through my posts, i have explained in detail more than once what there game plan has been all along. PS. TD WATERHOUSE ARE A CORRUPT MONEY GRABBING COMPANY! USE AT YOUR PERIL. | marvin9
08/11/2009 21:05 | I suspect this company is going down th drain? Eh Marvin? | whilest2
08/11/2009 10:53 | I know sad isnt it? | marvin9
06/11/2009 16:53 | only sells at peanuts. Don't blame anyone getting out - I would if I didn't have so many ks. | whilest2
06/11/2009 12:57 | Gordon Brown warned the Afghan government today that he will not continue to risk the lives of British troops to defend a corrupt regime. LOL DOES HE MEAN OUR POLITICAL PARTIES? | marvin9
06/11/2009 12:26 | Not to bothered if any one takes in what i say but: I would not bother matey, Stocks and shares are just like politicians and are lawless to operate there scams day after day, its what makes the rich richer whilst idiots like us think we are playing on a level playing field get poorer, there is no money to be made for the small time investor in the UK stocks and does not matter what kind of stock you buy into unless you are very lucky and buy into shares for the long term. This has learned me one megga lesson in that AIM stocks are a crazy place to invest into. It is unmoderated and companies are allowed to operate there scams without any fear of procecution. Best way is to keep to stocks that are out of favour and have assests that are undervalued and are worth something if they are sold to cover the share price, buy sit back and hold, forget these get rich AIM scam companies, most are just a scam and will never give you any returns. I am not bitter, i did my research like very other investor who have lost everything unless your in with the directors scam mates. What you can never predict is how trustworthythe directors are, which in this case has vereged on the comical with the Mr Bean errors they have made. Not to mention where has all the money gone? Companies like this should be investigated into, just makes you think why Mr White was forced out with no proper reason but leaving the main idiot in place , Mr Sandiland. You have to consider the stock markets as a corrupt fixed roulette wheel and be paronoid that are all are out to rob you, so in effect, buy and sell accordingly. This stock has proven that there is easy ways to rob honest people and get away with it. Why bother robbing banks or risking high profile long jail sentances that go along with those crimes when all you have to do is be a politician, banker, stock broker or a scam directors like these lot. Lesson in life my friend is to go with the flow and join them, this country is beyond recovery due to Tony Blair and people like David Sanilands. Nothing but the greedy elite who will do anything, say anything to obtain money and power. Its a shame but hey hoooooooo | marvin9
06/11/2009 09:53 | Loss making holders (all of us except those who got cheap shares on the last cash raising) can't even be bothered to sell their shares for the proverbial half peanut. I wonder what the institutions including those who invested pension funds are thinking now - during this long silence/sleep ? All those hospitals and clinicians queueing to get the platforms etc........... | whilest2 |
