SHUT IT MARVIN.
If you remember correctly TRoUt historically says that we are now in Autumn period of the year we should see OMH rise from its summer lows. So 1p by christmas then, mark my words. OI OI!

So Jeffrey Taylor sold another 10m yesterday (presumably the 10m @ 2.012p), banking another £100k profit after buying them at 1p in the December placing.

Anyone know who Jeffrey Taylor is? Possibly ?????

More interesting question is who's buying them off him.

they can hardly go any slower.

Problem is with most shareholders in OMH they need a massive increase to return to break even

luckily I,m not a shareholder

Faiz Kayyem stated: "We believe that the most effective and profitable
way for Osmetech to expand placements of our eSensor XT-8 units and associated
test revenues is to market our products directly in the US through our own
dedicated sales channel. This sales force will be relatively small in the
initial phase but structured to allow flexibility in meeting the requirements of
the dynamic and rapidly expanding molecular diagnostics market. It is our belief
that the increased control afforded by a direct marketing effort will allow us
to drive faster growth of our business and create greater value for our
shareholders. "

to drive faster growth of our business and create greater value for our
shareholders."

Not entirely sure what to make of this morning's announcement. OTOH i can see that with a new and fairly specialist technology like XT-8 a direct sales force could/should be much more effective than relying on a distributor. Also, given the specialist nature of the market, the number of potential customers is small enough to be serviced directly with a relatively modest sales force.

OTOH, having a direct sales force makes for a more complicated operation and will require significant investment. And they won't have the 'muscle' of someone like Fisher behind them. Also, does it indicate that Fisher aren't that bothered about XT-8?

Overall, i guess it shows ambition and commitment on OMH's part - they obviously believe that they have a product which has the potential to make a big impact on this market. Let's hope they're right!

Ihave to agree roobarb, every honest share holder has lost everything to a couple of crooks, one still in charge and hanging on still scamming investors ;(

Mr Sandiland has a lot to answer for, he is a clueless scamming prat.

Mind you he can really pick the women on the side ;) at our expense that is :(

Sigh !!!!

I wonder if Mr Kayyem ever regrets his investment which, if I can remember correctly, was someone in the region of 17.5p and if he honestly believes it will ever see these heady heights again without another share consolidation.

He is lucky I have over 50,000 from 1998 that are the equivalent of £2.30 a share in todays money.

What is the definition of a long term investment. I thought a 3-5 year period would see a return not one or two generations only to see it fail as the technology is finally cracked.

Yes you are right i suppose i have been a little to hard on the lying scum bag.

He really is a nice chap and i suppose even after 18 years he needs a little more time to pull around the fortunes of OMH and once he does we will all make millions.

£1.50 SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

My assssssssssssssssss!
