What we need is an internal investigation into where all the £80m has gone and more importantly, why is that lying scamming crook sandrat still running this scam?

Yes - in fact i've just re-read the whole of the Chairman's statement and think it's a pretty good summary of OMH's current position.

Basically, the question now is whether testing labs will adopt the XT-8 platform in any significant numbers. If they do then this won't be a £25m market cap tiddler. Of course there'll be a need for more finance but i would still expect the share price to multi-bag from 2.5p. If XT-8 isn't adopted then the value will be close to zero.

So - high risk but potential high return. I don't know enough about the platform or the market to assess the likelihood of XT-8 being a success but the fact that Gleeson is prepared to back it says to me that it's worth a small punt at this stage.

The paragraph before that is quite bullish

"Our eSensor XT-8 System is performing well and our customers are reporting high satisfaction levels. These are significant milestones for a company at
Osmetech's stage of development and together with substantially improving
operational performance, we now move into a lower risk phase of executing our
commercial plans. We are now clearly focused on prioritising our product
development activities to broaden our menu of tests and increasing our sales and marketing efforts to attract new customers. High value menu extension and
commercial execution are the two key areas we are focused on as we head into the second half of 2009. This focus will continue into 2010. The eSensor XT-8
System is a platform based on an enabling technology to address the broad
requirements of the molecular diagnostics market. The future success of our
business is not dependent upon any one individual test. By bringing the right
tests to market in a timely manner we will be able to capitalise on the
decentralisation of testing and the anticipated growth in personalised medicine."

Interims out this morning -

Key points as i see them -

1. Revenues still small but up 72% (in constant currency terms) on H1 last year (i haven't yet checked how this compares with H2)

2. Installed base of XT-8 instruments now 43 compared to 18

3. Cash of £5.3m as at 30th June but -

4. (from 'Outlook')"Osmetech has a market leading technology platform for multiplexed DNA testing, but notwithstanding our recent fund raising, financial markets remain challenging and consequently we continue to examine all strategic options for Osmetech to ensure that we have adequate funds for our future requirements."

well it seems honest nvestors a few and far between and not many now hold stock.

Its a sad state of affairs when a company can so blatently scam its share holders without any risk of prosicution.

Done it been there bought the t Shirt, without solid support nothing will get done.

How many on here would back an action to insist thre is an internal invstigation into where the funds have gone and to monitor its future actions before its sold onto there mates on the cheap?

There are no honest investors left this is a done scam with no going back.

Appalling how scum like these directors can operate with such ease with no come backs, they act like politicians

How can a company trade for nearly 18 years and still not produce a penny profit?

Would you still employ the same finance director after this disaster?

If he worked for me he wuld have been sacked after the first 3 years with his comical performance

I may say the same thing time aand time again, but at least i have been proven to be right.

This companies attitude to its invstors is apalling and arrogant. Sandrat has to go and as long has he stays within the company, no one will ever take them serious, he is way out of his league and is nothing more than a scam artist, who would sell his kids for a bottle of champers.
