We already saw a sharp dip (30%} a few weeks ago when the EIR issue was announced. Should all be priced in but of course who knows with these markets. Remember the EIR adjustment is a one-off, non-cash charge, which I suspect is all driven by accounting rules.

What a downbeat statement and presentation. If I didn't already own rather too many OSB shares, then this would put me off buying. Hopefully the Market will see through the gloom, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we saw a sharp dip on opening. Pleased to see that the divi has been increased, though.

Not the best results, but as expected due to the EIR adjustment.Outlook looks good.Interim dividend has increased to 10.2p from 8.7p for H1.Worst behind it hopefully. What does everyone think?

Chart is pointing to a squeeze upwards in anticipation of interims.

Cheers thebutler.Must admit I'm tempted to add a few more as all being well this will be back above 400p in no time and the divi yield is attractive if it doesn't get shelved of course!

We can calculate how much they saved by hammering the share price - may claw back £40m+.
Still I'm amazed by how little effect it's had on the share price. A tricky balance between taking advantage of the low price and not driving it up tooooooo quickly. I wonder who makes the key decisions.

The number of shares bought back so far is approx 23 million. Without having to go back and work he average share price on a daily basis, I'm guessing the average buy price is £4 (they've bought approx 13 million after the trading statement which caused the crash) = £92 million bought so far, so my estimation is that there's still approx £60 million to go (give or take a couple of million).

Closing that obvious gap up to about 475p has to be the first target here.If they maintain the dividend at the upcoming interims we will be on our way imo.

They were loading up.. Hence they kept the lid on it. Friday trade, in the close, no one would notice it, only eagle eyes

Those 2 lots of 1,9m buys were not part of any purchase; it's IIS that smashed and kept it down for 4 weeks.

Would be nice if we close at 375p. Results in a week or so time.

OSB are buying back quite a lot of their shares daily, about 700k, which is really squeezing available stock. And still over £40 million worth of the buyback to go so look forward to a further tight squeeze.

Did you guys see two lots of 1899999 buys last at 360p close?

This goes down 35% with 3m volume, two lots of 1.9m goes thru at 360p they kept under the radar. I think it was Thursday close

I think OSB will soon be back over 400p, but it might take a while to get back to where it was.

A long way to go, but it's a start. We should have a good run up to interims and then we just have hope that there is nothing lurking in the closet. If all is well, the outlook is positive and perhaps we even get a dividend increase, then we should fully recover by the end of the year. Got to stay positive. Looks like I chose a good day to add, yesterday.

Chart looks like we may see a sudden jump up soon. Nicely recovering from an oversold position and unwarranted drop imo.

If all is well with the interims and the divi is maintained, I will look to average down. Until then, it's a gamble.

The buy back certainly seems to be squeezing available stock, and still a long way to go re the buy back programme. Hopefully the interims will calm the nerves and get this back to over a fiver.
