10/9/2020 08:14 | I have not posted for a while but am a frustrated and pi$$ed off long term holder. All I will say is I would not rule out another shareholder revolt or more likely a takeover approach, Oriole's break up value well exceeds the current market valuation. The current lethargic Board seem unable to deliver value to the shareholders, I am sure another more dynamic one would. A couple of Swedish shareholders have sold down their stakes, both off the market, other long term larger holders (like Preston Road, Teck etc) are in above 1.5p or even higher, I am sure they would support a reasonable offer. The Swedish investors held around 10% of Oriole, another Swede (Peter Gyllenhammar) sold his 5% stake, again it seems off market. Where have all these shares gone? I have noticed some large late trades going through the market over recent months, rumours around a takeover or stake building have been circulating for a while now. I think the recent news from Senegal concerning the discovery made by Chesser could focus attention on Oriole. Chesser are now valued at a multiple of 18 times higher than Oriole but only have a fraction of the licence area in region, Chesser 45sq km verses Oriole 470 sq km. Oriole are a sitting duck target therefore. | thecoyone
10/9/2020 07:51 | Oriole tweeted yesterday, below is just one of a number of high grades on the Fare concession, near to Chesser Resources, Chesser has increased in value from $6m to $75m m/cap recently. 7m grading 86.39 g/t Au Gold Oriole/Iamgold are drilling at Fare now, could even have finished, results could be announced shortly. As mentioned I have been adding, ORR has not re-rated at all during the sector rally, only a matter of time. | aussiebeach
10/9/2020 07:24 | tell all the GGP muppets we have better drill result than them | the stigologist
10/9/2020 07:20 | Either it realises it's value or it's a take out opportunity. | tricky red
10/9/2020 07:00 | Lots of news is expected this month, we could hear about the $1m they are hoping to recover. Looks like buyers are returning, or is something more material going on in the background one wonders. I think we could soon be reaching .55p-.60p once again. | aussiebeach
09/9/2020 22:07 | Wealth Creator Your synopsis is worthy, the current BOD have failed to deliver value, I note the CEO has been in office since March 2018, is either asleep at the wheel, lazy or simply lacks ability. I would not be surprised to see an approach, someone pointed out elsewhere large blocks of shares have been changing hands off market, the few remaining large holders would probably support change. Chesser Resources has a market value of $75m based on a 45 sq km licence and a recent discovery only 3km from Oriole, ORR has one of the largest licences in the area (450 sq km) yet only valued at $4m + they have a plethora of other assets/investments. The valuation disconnect is clear for all to see, someone could easily asset strip ORR. | goldenshread
09/9/2020 21:29 | Just a matter of time before the market attributes a more sensible valuation befitting of their highly prospective licenses. Should be multiples of current Mcap for starters IMHO | trotterstrading
09/9/2020 15:16 | A valuation anomaly like this needs to be investigated - one would not be surprised to see a commercially linked entity make an offer for the entire share capital. A rare opportunity for the retail community to make a material gain with very little risk involved. | wealth_creator
09/9/2020 13:20 | That right geortrav, the lower grades were from the area close to Boto. | ssrmb
09/9/2020 13:12 | From Twitter... We have built a strong picture of the potential at our Faré #gold asset, including: 96m grading 1.51 g/t Au & 7m grading 86.39 g/t Au. Our neighbour Chesser_CHZ has recently reported similar results at Diamba Sud highlighting comparable geological make up | geotrav
09/9/2020 08:01 | Taken 1m for a start, will continue to add, looks cheapo and totally ignored by the market, some of these juniors have 3 4 5 bagged. | space_dust
09/9/2020 07:44 | Exactly. Still under the radar but that will change soon IMO | trotterstrading
09/9/2020 07:41 | Have added, those drill results from Chesser are outstanding, ORR is close by and there is a significant valuation disconnect. Talk in Aus of a new major gold trend, Barrack sniffing also. Chesser has a concession of around 45sq km, Chesser valued at $70m, Oriole has a concession of 450 sq km but only valued at $4m ? | aussiebeach
09/9/2020 07:35 | Starting to get interesting ;) | trotterstrading
08/9/2020 12:01 | The chart is turning They are upping their tweeting Results due in Q4 on drilling Now would seem to be the time to accumulate whilst it is quiet | the stigologist
08/9/2020 08:40 | Not seeing the trade volume for this to turn..... yet ? | homs1ep
08/9/2020 07:14 | Book has turned positive this morning, buyers returning. Looks like it is about to go on a run after a longish period of consolidation. | broken_arrow1
07/9/2020 21:02 | Due a big run this one. Too cheap | the stigologist
07/9/2020 11:56 | Never noticed that re-rate of Chesser, that is a significant move, they were valued around $10m just recently - now $70m Goodness knows why ORR cannot re-rate, they look to be sitting right on top of a new and potentially world class gold discovery in Senegal. I'm fully loaded but a great opportunity for others, those drill results in Senegal cannot be far off. | observer007
07/9/2020 07:46 | Interesting tweet this morning, nearby miner to ORR in Senegal 7 bagged on discovery. | space_dust
04/9/2020 10:11 | News is certainly expected, the CFO's recent interview said thy were in negotiations with a Royalty company, he also implied a deal/sale would be for a "bundle" of ORR's royalty positions. I believe the jewel in the crown royalty (a project called Muratdere) could sell for at least £750k, the overall package could be worth £1.5m+, not bad for a £3m company They are also pursuing another £1m money owed to them by partners. Concur, it is a good time to buying. | observer007
04/9/2020 09:47 | With new herds of private investors playing the AIM game things have changed, they move from one stock to another lead by Twitter & Telegraph groups in a flash. A stock like ORR could easily attract these types, when it does you could see a 50%+ gain in a day. The last RNS implied they are in the process of making more disposals, these could be material from a cash perspective. Buy when no-one is around is the key, ORR looks undervalued and oversold. | goldenshread
04/9/2020 07:35 | hxxps://stockhead.co | ssrmb
01/9/2020 14:25 | This is a great trading stock, buy under .40p and sell .55p - .60p Investors now looking and asking about the next small cap mover - look no further than ORR. Always the outside chance of a bag or 2 on major RNS coming. | silverspoon2009 |
