The most recent Chesser Resources presentation on the Chesser website is worth a look. P5 of the presentation shows ORR/IAMGOLDs Senala licence to the West. Recent RNSs from Chesser include excellent intercepts and grades.

The £1m tax bill was paid as a member of staff had been arrested. If they didn't pay he would still be in prison. They are still trying to get that money back. Very unlikely imo. This asset sales is good, i am surprised they actual got a buyer. They have 2 great assets and less to worry about now.

I have to say I am rather underwhelmed by today's announcement, just $30k cash and another potential $225k but when? Shareholders have been waiting since November last year for a material asset sale and now this.

Anyone who has been around Oriole/Stratex a long time will know deals with Turkish entities have been fraught with problems and failure to pay their dues.

We are still owed $425k from another such deal where the partner defaulted not to mention the $1m paid from shareholders funds to pay another Turkish company's tax liability when they defaulted on that.

Will this lot default as well ?

The local guys in turkey must be thinking positive if they are spending money buying back their royalties...
Bodes well for the advance of the project, milestone payment of $500k and construction payment of $220k.

All for nothing outlaid by Oriole.

And the oriole geos are getting paid to do the geology by the Turkish partner!

Win-win-Wim for Oriole.

There is no doubt that the licence in Senegal has considerable value way above the current market capitalisation of Oriole.

This has not been referred to before but it tells you all you need to know, no wonder Iamgold have been drilling around Madina Bafe and are keeping quiet on a possible resource.

1p+ is really on here, just wait and see, those discoveries in Senegal are world class, ORR sits right in the middle of them with the largest licence.

Premium being demanded on small lines of stock currently.

The volume is VERY interesting, lots of M&A going on in the sector.

This is still under £5m valuation, given the asset suite should be nearer £20m.

gold producers are probably very cash generative atm.
if they were profitable at 1300$ , theyre certainly coining it in @1990.

what do they do with all the extra cash?

pay tax?

imho , they probably shop for more licenses....

Strong volume here suggests something is up, could see a bid, anyone noticed the large stakes seemingly being transferred, but to who ?

A number of associated parties buying blocks of stock and then transferring them off market, over time, it seems !

Oriole have been busy on Twitter over recent times, this one confirms they are in the sweet spot in Senegal, a new discovery, many false dawns share price wise but with so much news expected + sector sentiment this has to go much higher.




Chartist Zak Mir suggests .85p is now on as a target price in his podcast today.

Good point drago . But on LSE. ggp has about 120 posts this morning and it’s up 4.5 % toady . Orr has 8 posts but is up around 15 % . But I agree with you though it needs the crowds to flood in .

This is one of the rare gold stocks that is not overbought on a technical basis, not overbought on the RSI and no-where near it's recent 0.65p January high.

A great entry point, if you can grab any shares in a tight market.

Another major discovery close to ORR's licence in Senegal announced today by Cora, that is the 2nd one recently.

Barrack and Chesser Resources think they have made a world class discovery within spitting distance at the same address.

No wonder volume is picking up here & hard to buy.
