07/8/2020 07:34 | Nothing available with most retail brokers currently - interesting ! This does look poised for a range breakout. | the_debt_collector
06/8/2020 09:23 | UPCOMING GROWTH CATALYSTS IAMGOLD continues de-risking activities at the Boto Gold Project, by advancing engineering, building access infrastructure, and progressing with environmental and social programs to support the project development. Building on our exploration success along the Senegal-Mali Shear Zone with several other discoveries located within 15 kilometres of the Boto Gold Project in adjacent countries, IAMGOLD has also initiated a strategic study, referred to as the "Bambouk Gold Complex," to advance resource evaluation and delineation at the Diakha-Siribaya and Karita projects to support the evaluation of various potential development scenarios and identify regional synergies. | ssrmb
06/8/2020 08:02 | Market is tight now, decent lines of stock are getting harder to acquire. | the_debt_collector
06/8/2020 07:25 | Disposal of non-core assets in Egypt, Djibouti and more in Turkey. Not massive value here but more than enough to kick this low MCAP up significantly.Djibou | nicholasc
06/8/2020 06:54 | It needs to drill Bibemi and hit some bonanza grades. That will move it big time, otherwise it hasn’t got anything else to move the market. | highly geared
06/8/2020 06:43 | Agreed re gold juniors - but this is a dust and mud junior?? | shortarm
06/8/2020 06:00 | This is poised for a major move, 1p is coming soon enough, market sentiment is all over these gold juniors currently. | silverspoon2009
06/8/2020 05:40 | According to the JV agreement with Iamgold they only gain 51% of the Senala licence once they spend $4m over 4 years, it is now early year 3 in the deal timetable. As a result Oriole still have full ownership (less 10%, local ownership) currently. It is incorrect to suggest this licence should be 'left to one side' therefore. Worth noting Oriole have the option to sell the licence to Iamgold at any point in the JV partnership. | aussiebeach
05/8/2020 23:20 | Agree with a lot of that. But that doesn't mean that ORR won't bag soon if the low MCAP twitter gold hunters grab hold. What do to here...... | nicholasc
05/8/2020 22:41 | Observer,Management do not have any control as to what IAM do - they can take aslong as they want, ORR have to take the weight for a bit longer. So the Senegal license needs to be left to one side at this moment - as the only certainty is the original agreement timeline, something like 2022 before anything concrete can be forced on IAM. The only project that can deliver for them is Cameroon. They control it. But something tells me management will probably hand control of that over to another midcap or interested party. So to me, it just makes this uninvestable. In reality, the issue is not the assets, it's the managers here.Cash | cashandcard
05/8/2020 21:29 | Volume has been picking up again, I think tomorrow will be a good day here. | the_debt_collector
05/8/2020 15:14 | Suspect all the liquid producers are being bought ' then the smaller producers and so on till the money hits the micro licence holders . Until then we wait our turn . | drago
05/8/2020 10:34 | The plain fact is Oriole hold a 470sq km exploration licence slap bang in the middle of a significant gold producing area in Senegal. So why has this not been reflected in the share price, more-so as there now appears to be a potentially world class discovery close to their licence at Fare. Nearby exploration ground was sold for £55 sq km - if carried across to ORR's Senala licence it would value it at £26m (see below) So Oriole is materially undervalued, it can only be a matter of time before we either get a re-rate or they get taken out. No doubt most shareholders would prefer the latter ! Sub £4m m/cap it has to be a buy in this climate. | observer007
05/8/2020 05:32 | Gold price matters because of their JORC of.....? Oh yeah - zero... | shortarm
04/8/2020 21:31 | One of the rare gold juniors not to have re-rated. Either they will re-rate or get bought out. Gold now $2018oz | silverspoon2009
04/8/2020 19:56 | Silver $26 | drago
04/8/2020 18:42 | $2000 broken! | ssrmb
04/8/2020 17:10 | Dust or trenching isn't really assets.... Senegal results ain't that good! Only of use if the mine is built and the partner holds ALL the cards! They can mine for years without need a little bit extra! | shortarm
04/8/2020 17:08 | Mind you . If management sell off the silver assets and silver THEN goes ballistic. We'll all be whinging how management sold us out cheap . Maybe a bit of patience . ' who knows | drago
04/8/2020 08:52 | Like watching paint dry here. Share price range bound for over 2 years whilst other juniors are booming. What a total shower of $hit. | thecoyone
04/8/2020 08:52 | Very quiet here. C'mon Timothy send a rocket up ORR's drill hole!! | nicholasc
03/8/2020 05:42 | The new management have failed to deliver value after nearly 2.5 years, with no major shareholders Oriole is wide open to be acquired by a more dynamic team. An approach is a real possibility given the excitement in Senegal where it looks like they are sitting on top of a potential world class gold discovery. I think long suffering shareholders would be delighted to see a bid or merger, this company proves that geologists are not suited to run a junior outfit, their focus seems to be on rocks as opposed to value creation. Not a time to be out, with gold approaching $2000 oz junior M&A will happen. | observer007
30/7/2020 22:38 | I wonder if it’s just a case of investors off loading their placement shares, 50%+ return not to be sniffed at. If this is the case then once the overhang is clear we will see the big moves. | ssrmb
30/7/2020 22:10 | They have a bunch more royalties in Turkey I think? Worth checking their latest corporate presentation and website. | geotrav
30/7/2020 21:36 | Not a great day on the markets today, nonetheless ORR looks materially undervalued. The results from Chesser Resources near to ORR look outstanding, excellent gold grades, they also said the trend extends both ways - namely into ORR's licence. Buy before the herd. | silverspoon2009 |
