01/9/2020 12:38 | A few exploration minnows are starting to rise strongly on no news as a result of sector sentiment, ORR cannot remain flat for much longer, it is only a matter of time before people see real value here. | observer007
01/9/2020 06:44 | 12m bought on 27th reported late. Today could be interesting. | ssrmb
31/8/2020 21:32 | Hopefully some news which is imminent will shortly ignite the share price. | goldenshread
31/8/2020 18:01 | This guy sold his near 5% stake apparently citing a conflict of interest, he is now CFO of another AIM resource junior ! The stock was seemingly sold off market, so who bought it ? | mrmcnee
31/8/2020 17:53 | Small cap mania in the junior gold sector has not happened yet, for that to happen the gold price needs to escalate through $2000oz and on towards $2500oz. Certain long term charts show the micro cap/junior mining sector is still sitting around historic lows, this will change. ORR and other selective juniors offer seasoned investors great entry points right now, those who have a modicum of patience will be well rewarded. I am building a position here, my view is the company could be asset stripped, some very large stakes in ORR have been sold on over recent times, it remains unclear who has bought them. A move from the current £3m market valuation to £6m or £9m is not a demanding ask for a variety of reasons. For the doubters just look what has happened at Wishbone Gold (a real historic 'dog' company) it has quadrupled. | mrmcnee
26/8/2020 10:16 | This moves up when least expected, the chart is full of peaks and troughs, is currently in a mid term upward direction with the next move looking to be .50p-.55p | grimreaper2019
26/8/2020 07:19 | I think they could surprise with a largish Royalty sale announcement, the CFO said they had been approached by Royalty companies, one of the Turkish royalties is Muratdere, this could fetch £1m alone given the NPV. I think the market is under-estimating the value in these royalties. I bought a few more yesterday, looks a no brainer entry price for newbies IMO. | observer007
24/8/2020 08:43 | If the current BOD cannot deliver value someone else will via a takeover. Some chunky stakes seem to have been sold on over the last 12 months but who has acquired them ?? | broken_arrow1
23/8/2020 17:40 | If the money starts rolling in the share price will rise, it's that simple. | grimreaper2019
21/8/2020 08:19 | This looks like a good summary, from LSE, suggests $4m-$4.5m could come Looking at recent news combined with yesterdays CFO interview ORR has sold/are selling/ or pursuing ... One royalty in Turkey for $300k 2nd royalty in Turkey for $250k Expected to receive arrears from a Turkish partner of $425k Waiting to hear on a Court case, a positive outcome would lead to ORR receiving $1m Sales of 3 or 4 more Turkish Royalties (one described as a 'big one') to Royalty companies equals $2m - $2.5m So in all a potential $4m-$4.5m incoming cash , that is more than the entire company valuation. Not forgetting ORR could also be disposing of the Thani Stratex investments which are on the book at £2.4m The shares are dirt cheap, have not rerated with the sector and are even sitting nearly 50% below their 12 month high. | mrmcnee
20/8/2020 12:54 | CFO confirmed they are in talks with Royalty companies to buy a 'bundle' of their Royalties. The Muratdere project has a NPV of $60m but at $1300 gold, could be $80m or more now - I reckon they could get $1.5m for it alone, then they have 2 other Royalties. The CFO seems a conservative fellow he called Muratdere a 'big Royalty' I agree, recent sales, pursuing $1.4m debt + new sales could equal $4m or even $5m I think the market is starting to latch on. | goldenshread
20/8/2020 12:29 | Book has turned positive - nothing available on-line. More news coming maybe ?? | grimreaper2019
20/8/2020 12:10 | Most retail investors are like a load of sheep, a few buy the others follow, it is pretty obvious what is coming, a significant value event. How many BOD's cease taking salary for 4 months preferring options, a way around closed period buying (knowing what is happening prevents them buying stock) So they are pursuing a ton of cash and have more asset sales coming, if this was a £50m company £2m-£3m in cash is irrelevant but Oriole is a £3m company. If anyone is running a short book in ORR watch out Open goal chance for small investors to make potentially significant gains. | broken_arrow1
20/8/2020 08:09 | That interview (released around midnight?) is very interesting and suggests Oriole could be about to receive a significant amount of cash, most interesting was the positivity around the $1m legacy debt owed by a Turkish company, it looks like they could get it back. The Muratdere Royalty has always been the jewel in the crown, the project NPV was around $60m but that could be $100m+ now given the rise in gold/copper/silver prices. The Muratdere Royalty could be sold quite easily to a Royalty company, that could fetch $1m or even more. Add it all up and, yes, this bundle of money owed/sales/upcoming sales could easily equal or exceed the current value of Oriole. I am surprised the shares have not moved ahead, only a matter of time IMO. | observer007
20/8/2020 07:26 | The CFO says they are chasing $1.45m and have sold $550k of Royalties so far but also said the best is yet to come, calls Muratdere Royalty 'a big one' + two other Royalties as well. All that lot could equal $5m+ So how can this be valued at only £3.5m ?? Buy whilst everyone is looking the other way !! | mrmcnee
19/8/2020 21:31 | New interview from the CFO concerning royalty sales. $2.4m outstanding debt & royalty payments due + Muratdere is a 'big Royalty' to add to that. More than the current market value of Oriole. | goldenshread
19/8/2020 21:11 | Thanks for the link grimreaper. Those gold grades are stellar and if that level of mineralisation reads across to ORR's licenses we certainly have reasons to be cheerful. Some coverage on Proactive today too and an interview with the CFO: [...] | the skipper
19/8/2020 19:53 | That's because there is no 'mud and dust' sector!???! | shortarm
19/8/2020 16:45 | Good find! | kilijarslan
19/8/2020 14:40 | My understanding is they re expecting news from multiple sources, Cameroon, Senegal and the minority investments. News excites investors. A rare find, a minnow gold stock (under £3m E/V) that has not bounced hard with the sector. I'm buying !!! | goldenshread
19/8/2020 12:26 | Surprised this has not been reported on, looks like ORR are sitting on top of a major discovery in northern Senegal. Their Senala licence in within spitting distance of Chesser Resources. FURTHER HIGH-GRADE GOLD INTERSECTED AT DIAMBA SUD | grimreaper2019
19/8/2020 10:39 | Book is strengthening behind the scenes, perhaps a larger buy order being filled. One of the few junior gold plays not to have re-rated, so far at least. | mrmcnee
19/8/2020 06:13 | A very positive update today, pursuing around $1.3m in historic accruals, more asset sales incoming, Turkish operation profitable, received $80k initial payments on Royalty sales. Not bad at all, the share price should start to recover now. | observer007
19/8/2020 05:44 | Agreed it's a good time to get in, timing is key. | goldenshread |
