02/1/2024 07:54 | A very positive corporate update this morning, a number of value creating initiatives expected within weeks, including two JV's which will bring in upfront cash to ORR of circa $1.45m. The Senegal licence JV terminates at end February, a sale has been suggested, either ORR will end up with 40% or they will receive $2.3m in cash from the JV partner and then have 30%, either numeric stake could then be sold. By end February ORR could have cash in excess of their current £6m market value. Very exciting times more-so given the low market value, this hit £32m in Q1 2021. | observer007
30/12/2023 14:27 | I agree but do Lanstead have 800m shares to sell ? I wanna buy the last 25k | nico115
29/12/2023 11:44 | My view is the stock has been in a downtrend for so long investors/traders have lost interest, what is clear the downtrend has been broken, the weight of material news over the next few weeks will drive it far far higher. Those who have followed ORR for many a year know the score and are well positioned. | observer007
29/12/2023 11:36 | Clear evidence the book has turned to the positive, they are asking .18p (a premium) for just £5k of shares, a week ago you could buy £30k's worth at a discount to offer. | broken_arrow1
29/12/2023 11:13 | Wouldnt it be lovely if it went back to 2 p | ic0gcds00
29/12/2023 08:29 | The book has turned positive suddenly having been weak for the last month, it looks like the overhang may have cleared. This stock moves quickly on modest volume historically. | broken_arrow1
29/12/2023 08:16 | ORR should be a large % riser early next year, all the ducks are lined up, the current £5m m/cap compared to peers is farcical. | aussiebeach
28/12/2023 14:47 | This should start to attract interest shortly, to my reckoning aside from operational matters ORR could start to receive significant cash inflows from JV's/project sale over the next 3 months starting in a few days. 31st Dec $500,000 cash Signature Fee from BCM (project 1) 31st Jan $1m cash Signature Fee from BCM (project 2) End Feb possible $2m cash due to underspend by JV partner in Senegal End Feb possible stake sale of 30%/35% Senegal licence (to JV partner) worth $5m/$10m? All these events have to materialise by the stated dates. By end Q1 ORR could have a bulging bank balance way in excess of the meagre £4m m/cap. DYOR etc. | observer007
24/12/2023 15:53 | A couple of fantastic posts from the lse. Oriole is defeinately the safest share I hold and offers the second biggest potential. Other than QBT that is higher reward again, but with much more risk. Post one: Well no RNS today, 3 trading days left for this year. ORR has been a rollercoaster that’s for sure !! Hope everyone has a good Christmas and has enough to eat. Looking forward to see what this company can do in 2024, I hope we get BCM onboard. I recommend taking a read of their website they seem like they would be a great partner for ORR and they know the region and how to get a mine up and running all things we need. Here’s hopin 2024 is the year of momentum and value for the business. Bonanza grades in Cameroon and we are off to the races!! Post two: "Bonanza grades in Cameroon and we are off to the races!!" Agreed! Buy now or pay 100x later! It's perfectly possible. Looking back, who thought GGP would hit the jackpot? Hitting a jackpot never comes with instructions - you just have to take a chance! VERY STRONG BUY | luckyabbeygale
20/12/2023 08:04 | Offer up on ig share deal to 0.1855p for just £500 worth. They must be short of shares. | luckyabbeygale
19/12/2023 19:44 | Lanstead have been selling from day 1, it is what they do, it looks like they are ditching around 1m a day. Not sure if the BOD genuinely believed they would hold onto their shares as they tried to purport or not. Is it a case of BOD naivety or total stupidity to get involved in such a deal in the first place, who knows? According to posts elsewhere there appears to be a number of events ahead which will spike volume so the price may appreciate nonetheless. | the_debt_collector
19/12/2023 19:29 | When the bid is 0.14p it is still 0.15p on IG Index. That to me is a very strong sign that something big is going to happen. Ofcourse no mention of all the stake building there has been this week and last week. Also the price of gold is another reason to be invested here. | luckyabbeygale
19/12/2023 18:31 | so The start of selling shares has begun!!! | twodegrees
13/12/2023 09:02 | You have to be in this ahead of the Senala Senegal update that has to come by mid Q1, if you listen to the recent Q&A interview, some of which has been edited down (why, maybe too revealing?) the CEO said in as many words they would be happy to get shot of their stake, for the right price, as it was a 'management distraction' It has to be worth £5m+. | silverspoon2009
13/12/2023 08:48 | Strange goings on over the last week or so with ridiculously wide spreads, inability to buy online periodically, sells being absorbed, it's almost like someone is trying to protect a position or price stabilise. With news expected across many fronts one would expect the share price to gain strength particularly if they sell their Senegal licence to their JV partner, a decision has to be made by mid Feb. That licence stake could fetch a pretty penny, potentially multiples of the current m/cap. | observer007
08/12/2023 17:25 | I've never trusted a word you've said from day 1.But you keep buying and ramping companies that use death spirals ! Im long and think this rallies but upside is a lot lower due to the huge dilution caused by this death spiral . | nico115
07/12/2023 14:23 | Coiled spring comes to mind. | one2go
07/12/2023 14:12 | This is really not a time to be out of ORR, so much news is expected shortly, if they can nail a sale of the Senala stake it could fetch a very substantial cash sum, possible more than the current market cap. It is becoming increasingly harder to buy in the market which is always a good sign. | silverspoon2009
07/12/2023 13:00 | Look at the buys now. Good ridance to the idiot Nick Slator. After his comments regarding Oriole. I will never trust anything he ever says again. | luckyabbeygale
07/12/2023 08:55 | The RSI has come back from overbought to neutral which means the shares are now in buy territory, sell volume from the drop from .21p to current has been modest, suggests many are holding for more upside. In all a pretty bullish scenario, premiums are being asked for modest size currently. The next move could be more dynamic due to implied news updates. | broken_arrow1
07/12/2023 08:24 | Q13: What happened with the Canadian bank investment? Has that been closed after signing with BCM?The Canadian bank had initially indicated that they were looking for a million dollars at 10% ownership and that was on 5 licences . BCM have come in on 1 licence and we're now looking at discussing with the Canadian bank whether or not they want to do something on the other 4 licences. Obviously there's a proximity play here now. Mbe is now US$5m investment - a million cash and 4 million in the ground exploration - for 50% so that values that one single licence at more than the Canadian bank's complete valuation on the 5 licences. So we're still in discussion with the bank on whether or not they want to change their offer. | sclper
07/12/2023 08:10 | Took 5m of these around .9p just before the recent JV RNS, took profit at .19p but am now back in, see another strong move coming, read the tealeaves more news has been telegraphed and it could be VERY significant !! I am looking for a move through .30p, the shares are most definitely in the BUY zone IMO. | silverspoon2009
07/12/2023 07:52 | The Canadian bank who were mistakenly named by Tim Livesey are big hitters in the mining space, for example they have invested over $100m in Caledonian Mining and seem to build relationships with their investees. They have a list as long as your arm of mining companies they have put money into over the last decade, the bank is a offshoot of Merrill Lynch. I think if ORR can get across the line with this bank it could be worth, in time, a lot more than the initial $1m therefore. The share price has retraced since the recent high of .21p so it looks good for another rally. The Senala deal approaches, from the sound of the interview it was strongly mooted that it is a distraction of management time and that implies they would happily accept a cash offer for their 30% stake, this has to be closed by mid February. A cash injection of £5m+ would be a game changer here. | observer007
06/12/2023 08:30 | If the Canadian bank is involved, why would the company not mention it, surely that is market sensitive information? | twodegrees
06/12/2023 07:14 | It's a no brainer since now we know the funding is sorted by the Canadian bank which will send the share price a lot higher to what it currently is. | luckyabbeygale |
