Imminently poised for another spike up, do not miss out, .24p / .23p / .19p were the recent moves from current levels.

Larger buyers were hovering late PM yesterday.

A JV partner would make a lot of sense. They have a significant ground position which needs to be explored and a JV partner would provide both money and personnel to enable this to be done. The more progress, the more likely they are to be in favour with the mining ministry and government. First mover advantage puts them in a very good position. With the ground they already have, my bet would be that they are an attractive partner for any major group, so the tweet is believable.

Very interesting tweet posted late last evening from Oriole, they are seeking a JV partner in Cameroon, meetings with 14 major groups on 1st day of mining conference.

If Cameroon really is a great prospect & there are viable possibilities of commercial quantities of lithium we could be forgiven for believing that 1 or more of The Big Boys would want some part of the action & take a stake to fund further development & accelerate that process by committing some of their resources/expertise.Ceding 30% for £2mill to a large player at a premium would make more sense to me than death spiral financing

Lithium RNS

Is today's newa a major turning point for Oriole, it looks like they may have stumbled across a major lithium deposit.

Hi geotrav, what was disastrous about the requisition? Maybe I misiunderstand? If Engelbrecht had been allowed to continue to run amok, Stratex would have gone belly-up in short order and IMO, Chair Addison was impotent. Engelbrecht would have walked away with a LOT of shares and become fat and happy, who is to say where the Brazilian money was going to flow….Hannan and Partners also played a shady role IMO.
.
Thank heavens we have the (fairly) new crew who broadly seem to know what they are doing - and working on behalf of shareholders. The road back was never going to be easy! tightfist

Commenting and comparing to an share price of 2.5 in 2017 is deramping.
Oriole didn’t exist in its current guise in 2017, that was the old company prior to the disastrous requisition which so many shareholders supported and which knocked multiple millions out of the company value.

Sine 2018 the ‘new’ company have delivered on everything they promised - new frontier, new resource, new mining district.

Sadly there’s a bunch of old crusty a*rses who are determined to trade this down whenever they can and make a fast % by manipulating the less experienced retail investors.

Let’s hope they all get caught with their pants down when the huge value which oriole has identified in Cameroon is realised.

Just read the press releases… nothing negative in 5 years of exploration in Cameroon…

All posts seem accurate to me, the issue with bulletin boards is if anyone posts in a sensible negative way they are deemed derampers, well let me tell you Geotrav those 'derampers' have been 100% right all the way down from 1p, but fear not the CFO says dilution is not an issue.

Funding is the issue, it has always been the issue, they have no other way of raising cash so ORR becomes a rolling short.

At current levels they will not be able to get a placing away without a capital reorganisation, to raise £1m they will need to issue at least 1 billion shares.

Mega dilution ahead.

Typical bunch of derampers getting in and pushing down the price so they can load up ahead of any positive news-flow from the continuing successful projects…

So predictable.

Have the fundamentals changed? Nope, everything they’re doing in Cameroon is succeeding. Latest release showing multiple high grades, over 130 g/t !!!

Such a pile of tripe from the usual BB hero’s, none of which have communicated with Management or Board apparently.

They just about managed to get the last placing away at .12p next time they might not be so lucky.

ORR is dilution central - reckon the .12p placing takers are dumping the remnants of their stock.

BTW Mr Grim's record on ORR is impeccable!

There appears to be utter despair over on the LSE BB where there is more traffic - the main crux of the matter appears to be ORR management policy of dilution and project longevity.

You have to say they have a point, whilst all juniors have been hit ORR is by far one of the worst, down 90% from it's 2021 high.

No CFO will bleed the bank dry before re-replenishment so they have to be considering options on a fund raise, this probably explains the share price weakness.

Sentiment here appears to be at an all time low.

This is a classic example to new investors entering the sector, NEVER EVER invest in a mining junior run by geologists.

The only policy here is to keep the salary/benefits gravy train running, by the CFO's own admission dilution of equity holders is of no concern.

The treasury is running dry again, current placing discounts are penal, if the share price drops much more they will have to call a GM to raise below par value (.10p) - a capital reorganisation looks more likely with every notch lower.

Back in 2017 the share price was 2.5p it is now .13p.

Oh BTW I bet they are shortly swanning off to Mining Indaba in South Africa, they visit most years but nothing ever comes out of it, a nice ego trip nonetheless.

They don’t have a plan to drill this season and said they were funded through until the end of the season, so I’m not sure it’s a concern right now? Bigger news must obviously be the interest these new results will bring? Clearly the potential they hoped was in the central belt is being proven up?

The concern seems to be about the cash position - once again - they raised around £550k net in October so the bank must be running dry again.

The company has previously needed £1.2m to £1.65m to pursue drilling activity in the Cameroon, clearly that is unattainable at the current share price without hideous dilution.

I fear the market is running out of patience with Oriole, the share price is slipping away which makes any fund raise nigh impossible given that recent placings have hideous discounts in the sector.

They have diluted many times but surely they would not issue 1 billion new shares to raise £1m would they ?

Yes, IMO an impressive update; not only regarding Au but also notable emphasis on lithium potential..Hopefully share price reaction to this RNS will mark the end of the inverted H&S chart formation that has been developing over the last seven months..About time too! tightfist

A bit of reassurance from ORR that things in Cameroon are still on track wouldn't go amiss. Well, if they have any?
