The concern seems to be about the cash position - once again - they raised around £550k net in October so the bank must be running dry again.

The company has previously needed £1.2m to £1.65m to pursue drilling activity in the Cameroon, clearly that is unattainable at the current share price without hideous dilution.

I fear the market is running out of patience with Oriole, the share price is slipping away which makes any fund raise nigh impossible given that recent placings have hideous discounts in the sector.

They have diluted many times but surely they would not issue 1 billion new shares to raise £1m would they ?

Yes, IMO an impressive update; not only regarding Au but also notable emphasis on lithium potential..Hopefully share price reaction to this RNS will mark the end of the inverted H&S chart formation that has been developing over the last seven months..About time too! tightfist

The offer rose after that 890K buy.
You need to dummy test to find out what is a buy and a sell.

A bit of reassurance from ORR that things in Cameroon are still on track wouldn't go amiss. Well, if they have any?

Yesterday's news was a clever way to shake out the weak sellers.
Now it is looking like the selling has dried up, that will give the share price an extra boost on the next lot of positive news.

Very naive selling out today, ORR's work with the Cameroon government will continue, they have so much to gain.

Remember that gold has gone up over 80 points since Oriole hit 0.23p to sell about a month ago. The news coming should push Oriole to over 0.30p.

The fact that Iamgold wanted out of Africa has been in the public domain for sometime so today's announcement should not come as a surprise.

If Managem have paid hundreds of millions for the Boto and associated assets, you can be sure they’ll be aggressive in developing the opportunities.
I see no risk if the status quo remains and Managem take over the Iamgold spend commitment, only upside.

But are there other opportunities?

I can see only positives for ORR

Quite simple isn't it , the rights and obligations to carry out the 4m spend by feb 24 will have to pass on to M unless under the current discussions (remember the target date for closing the deal is Q3 2023)1. M don't want it if so IAM will have to relinquish the entire licence back to Orr on a 100% basis 2. IAM pay 4m cash to Orr out of the disposal consideration as forfeiture and hand back the licence3. IAM continue to advance the prospect and spend 4m and pass the 70% interest to M by Q3 2023All or any one of the above are the subject of discussions hence todays rns
