05/1/2022 10:44 | SYME is about to multibag | charlescharliesback
21/12/2021 11:00 | Or you add/average down as several have done this morning. | the skipper
21/12/2021 08:53 | Risk is off at the moment, liquidity has dried up, there is nothing the BOD can do, all minnows are in the same boat, their share price performance has been dire over recent months. As stock prices fall those holding start to sell to protect their cash and/or stop losses get hit driving prices lower. Who knows when this demise will turn around it needs something to kick start the market, even huge winners like GGP and EUA have lost 50%. You either hold and grimace daily drops or sell or take advantage of the low entry point and wait, it is as simple as that IMO. | observer007
21/12/2021 06:07 | Those investing in junior exploration need to understand that the market can be brutal and relentless in value destruction. Before sector recovery around 30 months back the likes of Oriole and a number of peers were valued at £2m/£3m, the current market valuation of this company is still £6.5m, it hit £30m on 8th February, the sector high point. The above gives a guide as to where the share price might go if market conditions continue to deteriorate, with 2 billion shares in issue the above numbers could lead to a share price of .15p or even .10p Significant caution is needed therefore especially as Oriole is market dependant on equity raises to survive, there is still time to preserve capital. My opinion only, no advice offered. | mrmcnee
21/12/2021 00:12 | Yep not a lifestyle company but Tim has been a bit naive in his promotion of the stock and so far not delivered on the exploration side. | the stigologist
21/12/2021 00:02 | There are a lot of lifestyle companies on AIM but this is not one of them. Directors have digged into their own pockets regularly to provide support, have the expertise to select the most promising areas for drilling after undertaking stream sampling and trenching beforehand, and have spent a lot of time away from their families in a boiling hot mosquito infested country, whilst running the risk of picking up Covid or any of the multitude of other diseases prevalent in the tropics. I think they deserve a bit of praise for that personally. | the skipper
20/12/2021 21:58 | Off course its rubbish but punters will still put in their hard earned | juju44
20/12/2021 16:59 | Great interview with Claire Bay this afternoon: Sounds like there will be continuous news flow throughout Q1 next year. | the skipper
20/12/2021 16:53 | It is a terrible looking chart, one wonders if .20p is likely, there was support around this level a few years ago. I wonder how many are selling with the aim of buying back cheaper. | mrmcnee
20/12/2021 15:17 | I must admit overall the drill programmes here have been quite disappointing. Tim needs to deliver on some hits with the drill bit to justify they know what they are doing on the exploration side. | the stigologist
20/12/2021 15:16 | Not sure these are 'wide' but that is subjective so you're entitled to your own opinion Mine was that these didn't look particularly good, maybe promising but not good in and of themselves | the stigologist
20/12/2021 15:00 | Some interesting tweets today from ORR: In particular the cross section of three drill holes showing wide veining down to a considerable depth. News being ignored by the market but gold producers will no doubt be onto it, particularly those who are too heavily exposed in Peru or Chile as things are not looking good there with recent regime changes, and they will be looking to reduce country risk, given stated nationalism of assets aspirations imho. | the skipper
20/12/2021 11:19 | Having held since Stratex & added as lowly ORR & having been a long term holder of AAU ( at under 1p) & ( ATYM since 50p) I fully appreciate that investing in miners can be a long long process before the rewards ( if ever ) materialise. The attraction of ORR is its very low market cap & if we are genuinely viewed as a miner who could move to production there must remain a decent chance of a multi bag from here-although we all know that funds will be needed - or a decent farm out deal. | base7
20/12/2021 09:49 | Does look remarkably cheap for a substantial guaranteed gold deposit for less than £7M! Bargain. Adding. | philjeans
20/12/2021 09:12 | What’s not to like about those results? Cameroon is now well and truly on the map as a new gold province and ORR have clear first mover advantage, with more drilling results to come early in the new year. Bargain of the century at the current market cap imho. | the skipper
17/12/2021 20:11 | So many trying to push the price down and fleece the unwary investors… Sad, sad people. They said results in Q4 and it’s not over till December 31st… | geotrav
17/12/2021 09:30 | Is this going bust. It’s the worst performing stock ever. It’s down everyday. | 2603
16/12/2021 13:27 | And in todays news, the map that tells a great story… | geotrav
15/12/2021 23:22 | Bibemi drilling news coming ‘shortly’ | the skipper
15/12/2021 10:17 | I see the tag 'lifestyle business' has once again been mentioned in relation to this company, how true, others have pointed out that management are on full time & generous salaries but are working part time and based at home. Fact is the market has seen through the investment case and voted it down, the market realises there is no blue sky event and cash raised will continue to pay salaries, expenses & corporate costs. Projects are exceptionally long term and onerous, probably deliberately, asset sales that were touted 2 years ago have come to nothing as have the legal pursuits of £1m odd in Turkey, one claim has been ongoing for FIVE years ! Livesey & Co has diluted former Stratex shareholders from 470m shares when he took over to nearly 2 billion currently, there is more of that coming. This is a total avoid, at best might be a trade but the trend is DOWN. | thecoyone |
