ORR have been hamstrung by Iamgold, ORR have said the JV could have been a better one, it is one of the largest licences in the area, a nearby exploration licence was sold for over $300m

I am sure ORR would love to monetise Senala to concentrate on Cameroon, if they break free from the JV they could then sell 100% of that licence, could fetch north of $50m even in a fire sale.

This is a great buy in opportunity

Extremely lack lustre. Go back to the Silrex days , when the then a Stratex bought the asset. After much drilling and expense, they couldn’t muster a 500k Jorc resource as part of the deal terms. The asset is then JV’d with IAM, and years later, where are we...?

Bibemi is where it’s at for ORR , provided they deliver decent drilling results.

I wonder how much cash we have in the bank after recent warrants being exercised, could we pull this license back and go alone? Was always Tim’s favorite. Tim stated months ago, from his experience across the other side of the table in previous roles, it is not in IAMGOLDS interest for this to look too good.

Great buy in opportunity for sure, the Iamgold situation will get sorted, nearby licences have been changing hands for hundreds of millions of Dollars.

Well I never expected a RNS like that after all this time waiting to hear about Senegal.

It does look poor from Iamgold, Oriole must have known things were not right after Iamgold halted drilling in the early summer which we were only told about many months later.

Unfortunately this is a pretty material event for Oriole as Senegal was their early ride to significant upside, that is now in some doubt, for the time being at least.

Traders : 😢 boo hoo we wanted high grades and big intersections so stock would spike so we can sell

Investors: 😉 we know IAMGOLD as a big long term player may play games to force out a Junior but this is a valuable licence which we are quite happy to wait for or take back full control

Novel use of an outside on-site broadcast - and the CFO getting very hands-on......I particularly appreciated CB talking about the community engagement and artisanal miner aspects which I had been thinking about elsewhere..Cheers tightfist

Great interview. Plenty of gold seen in drill cores but obviously it has to be properly assessed in a lab and that will take some time. In the meantime it sounds like we are going to get plenty of news flow from Senegal and the other assets.
