Tim explains the 'breach' very well.

The exploration results are positive.

The breach is entirely resolvable.

Either IAMGOLD pay us cash for the underspend on Year 3 or they roll the underspend into Year 4

In my opinion they will not want to look like Bad Partners to other Juniors they work with or hope to work with so with $1bn on their Balance Sheet we may get a bit of a windfall from them. We should certainly play it nice but if necessary and within our legal rights play hardball

Fully trust Tim to do the right thing.

Of course if it came to Court Tim could point to the fact ORR had £5m off their Market Cap today for a minor $0.5m? underspend breach. So we could pursue that in Damages from IAMGOLD.

Looks like this is trying to go back up over 1p...
Lucky to have added at .89p this morning, got my average down to 1.06p so not too worried where this goes short-term as I am looking at the longer picture!

Looks like this could be heading back to the 0.65p region where there is some support, I said if 1.05p went the next stop would be in the 0.60p's

Problem is junior exploration stock sentiment has waned as punters look for the next growth sector (oil, leisure) as such the weight of money is no longer around to propel plays like ORR and others.

I'd like to know as how today's results are in contradiction to the statement on the January RNS, that IAMGOLD had completed the 10000m AC drill program as scheduled, yet today they announce less than 70% of that program completed ?????. Something doesn't fit and keen to know why.

I notice a couple of posters commented on low grades. However this air core drilling was only designed to test the geochemistry of the immediate sub surface down to 10 metres. IAMGOLD has confirmed their intention to complete 5,000m of RC drilling and 1,000m of diamond drilling. I doubt they would propose this unless they believed it was worthwhile, which is subject to ORR acceptance of their catch-up plan. Don't forget the spectacular grades previously achieved at Fare Far South restated in this RNS.

I thought the RNS was neutral at worst. Further evidence of gold and Iamgold has to present a catch-up plan which would make the remainder of this year drill results and news-flow rich.

For what it is worth I think ORR will agree to move the rest of Iamgold's year 3 spend into year 4, it is entirely possible that progress at Senala was hindered by COVID, they are a Canadian outfit.

I think the sell off is overdone therefore, it is not make believe that Orioles licence would fetch very very good money as there is real evidence the location is endowed with gold, nearly 50m ounces in fact, majors are all around it with Barrack to the immediate East.

The shrewd and knowledgeable will be buyers at current levels.

Have bought in, looks cheap, Livesey is an experienced fellow, ex Barrack, oh who are next door to ORR in Senegal, that's right Barrack/Randgold

When the dust settles this will bounce strongly as folk realise it is a win win situation for Oriole.

If that were the case, around 0.65 would be support. I doubt it will fall further imho.
