If the stock hadn't already risen considerably from its lows and be under pressure from warrant sellers I think it would have risen considerably on today's news which illustrates the enormous potential of the new licenses.

Can't fault this company for keeping its investors informed though and the share price is consolidating nicely ready for another big push when drilling news emerges or the Directors are able to say something about Senala as there is only so long that IAMGOLD can keep them in the dark.

Exactly. For all we know they may want to tie up entire district so may have bid for Chesser Resources on the quiet ? Why in effect'bid' against themselves by saying "hey these Fare results show that Chesser's strike is massive and carries over into our Oriole licence"

if the want to take over senala,
then , they will want to pay the lowest price,
therefore , they wont "bum it up" .

Interesting that they are doing as much drilling at Senala as other exploration prospects they do mention

Easy enough to find:

No mention of Senala as that is currently an earn in through exploration, but these statements suggest that its acquisition could well be on their agenda:

“We have maintained a robust global reserve and resource profile in 2020, noting that our numbers did decline year-over-year, reflecting both industry trends and the reality that we mine a depleting resource“.

“ Total attributable Proven and Probable gold Reserves decreased by 2.8 million ounces or 17% in 2020 to 13.9 million ounces from the prior year”.

“ Total attributable Measured and Indicated gold Resources (including Reserves) decreased by 3.3 million ounces or 12% to 23.9 million ounces from the prior year”

“ Total attributable Inferred gold Resources decreased by 697,000 ounces or 6% to 11.3 million ounces from the prior year”.

Senala might get a mention in the conference call tomorrow, but I have a busy day in store so might miss it.

News is expected on multiple projects, no wonder folk are buying the drop, it traded at 1.95p recently.

I actually tried to (reluctantly) sell a few this morning and they wouldn't let me sell any. Now they will take at least 1m at a way higher price! Got lucky there.

Wouldn't be surprised if there are some large background buyers, trades still to be declared, despite the drop it has been hard to buy ORR on a number of platforms today.

In various interviews they have stated drill results and updates will occur in Q1 so it is not a time to be out IMO.

L2 is pretty weak right now, early sellers, decent support at 1.2p/1.25p region.
