I don’t know what page and when you last looked? Follow link: hxxps://www.orchardfundinggroupplc.com/shareholders
You will see I am not there and haven’t been since around July 2022!!!!!!!!!
So check facts first before throwing stones in a greenhouse!

I wonder who the 50k sells belong to. Can you say Peter if it was you or not?

I just noticed another discrepancy in your message compared to previous... but let's not dwell on it. If you choose to buy now or not until Sept.

If I have to hazard a guess, he had to sell all or vast majority of his previous shares and buy back in order to have an average of 46p. So that's around a million shares in the market over the past months. Peter, the contentious part was NOT you offloading, it's absolutely your right to do so. It was how you had been talking up, giving indication on how you intended to hold, as well as speculating on the sellers' actions when in fact you were an active seller yourself. For a company with such low volume, any substantial movement can make a difference to the price. It's just a bit underhand that's all. Anyway, I'll stop commenting on this now and will focus on ORCH. And just topped up. That 8k share was mine :)

Peter....unless it is a different person you are listed on the IR page flagged by playful as holding over 3% and you have indicated in postings that you are over 3% when posting positive comments. Through all that posting period you now say you only hold 300,000 so must have been a constant seller with such low liquidity here.

That makes me feel very uncomfortable with the things that you have said to gain investor confidence and as a contractor with very useful insight into the workings of the company that makes me feel very concerned about the lack of clarity and honesty that you are/were actually a seller.

Your last holdings announcement was presumably this one...

So, Peter, have you ever held 650k shares or more across all your accounts, which is just over 3%. If so, have you met your legal obligations to advise ORCH of this? Of course, as per earlier posts, your legal obligation is not limited to this, as it relates to notifying of every move up or down through any every integer percentage point above this.

Davidosh, and others. Yes ido buy and sell large amounts, but that is purely moving my SIPP funds between different investments!!! Nothing else.
I am a LTH. Currently that is only 300,000 shares and that will stay that way until September.
I am close to Ravi and speak to him and e mail him on a weekly basis as I work for OFGP - Orchard Funding Group PLC as a contractor Cyber Security Consultant to work on their policy, process and procedures, plus to advise on Protective Monitoring and IDAM on the Orchard data within AWS and their two SaaS.
Everything I have added here and on LSE has been as a Private investor, but with some insight and knowledge of internal workings! It is a tightrope walk, as to what I can and cannot put on here!
However i do pass on and highlight any comments, questions and issues to Ravi personally from all posters on here and LSE Bulletin boards.
If this at times is contrary or confusing I apologise whole heartedly it is not testimonial!
My holdings have always been open and above board, speak with Ravi or ask Q&A questions to him and the board via the Investor Rekations, he does reply normally within 48 hours. So if you want news or answers to whether a share buyback is an option do it via the IR page.
That is it from me now for 2-3 weeks as I am out of the country for 2 weeks come Friday!

I'm looking forward to next month's trading update with great interest. In the UK double digit inflation and greatly increased mortgage rates are inevitably stretching household budgets so I expect Orchard's current trading to be strong.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything said but we should all continue to ruthlessly pursue an objective of a company share buyback not just because it enhances value for all shareholders but because it also strengthens the investment case for potential new shareholders ie larger discount to net assets value, larger dividend yield and a lower earnings multiple per share. Even if someone couldn't quite grasp the concept and benefits of a share buyback, Ravi undoubtedly will.

Really IMHO a share buyback is a complete no brainer and should be a easy and automatic decision for management. In the latest years trading, cash rose by £2mln and spending £1mln on a buyback is negligible in the grand scheme of things and would make little difference to their lending capacity in the context of a £40mln loan book. Essentially the share buyback option is a test of this management's competence and ability to effectively run the company at an optimum level. Over the years I've noted a huge range in CEOs abilities so nothing really surprises me but we shall see.

I echo that. Enough about him. It's a window of opportunity. Profit making, cash rich, attractive dividend yield, no debt, tailwind in a higher interest rate environment compared to previous years. Lots to like

Hi 97Peter, fortunately my investment case for ORCH does not depend on whether or not you hold the shares.

However, I will say that if indeed it is the case that you have not complied with the notification rules about informing the company in question - Orchard - who should then publish an RNS), every time you crossed a 1% threshold at 3% or more (including going from above 3% to below 3%, then here's a link to the FCA Disclosure & Transparency rules which describe your obligations: Also, if it is the case that you have deliberately mislead the other investors on the board by advocating others buy while you sell, then that is disappointing and unfair. However, if it is the case - then you have created a buying opportunity for us, so with every cloud a silver lining!

Atleast now we know why the shares are at lows. Should see some upwards pressure with any buying, unless someone decides to sell a few % 🤷‍a94;️

My favourite excerpt-on 6 Feb-"I think the seller has finished now, or sellers, as they have cleared around 250,000 between them!" Well you should know as they were your sales! What are FCA going to make of this? There're not going to like it, that's for sure!

Oh Peter!! In March you were telling us you were holding your million+ shares until at least end of 2023 but now admit that within weeks of that statement you had started to dispose of 80% of them.

No one should be taking anything on these BBs at face value but it’s always disappointing when you find out that someone that appears to be straight up has in fact been rather economical with the facts.

Furthermore it appears that you haven’t even complied with the FCA regulations. Naughty, naughty.

….. I have currently only 1,111,111 and will stick to this and take div’s until end of 2023 and then decide where next or to long term hold for bank licence and maybe even a 3 bagger takeover,

gbcol and others stay the long game and patience! A few speculative sells at 51p and it will settle back above 50p in the New Year!
I also have to admit openly I work as a consultant for Orchards Cyber Security and also own just under 3% of Orchard.

Battlebus2 and all plus CWA1 this company and share as a big 3% of company investor, part time consultant and big backer of AIM. I can only ask you to wait for early Feb 2023 for IR investor look, links and Q&A and watch OFGP bounce to 55p!!
A great share, CEO, BOD and plan and strategic plan for 2023/24!!!!!!!!!

Great time to buy, I am trickling a few extra 1,000 and 5,000 buys as and when other divis from other shares comes in. I think the seller has finished now, or sellers, as they have cleared around 250,000 between them! Hopefully this was just a blip and speculators coming in purely for divi?
Orchard is solid!

Galles I did hold more 9 months ago, but reduced my holding to invest in other shares, tactically. But I am now buying back in and intend to get to around 1,100,000 shares or around 4%. Then I will just sit and take the £30,000 a year to live on. I have always been in and out and luckily now my average at 311,190 shares is46p. Hoping to buy remaining numbers under 50p, to 55p over the next 6 months.

And that might just explains where the seller came from, 600k of them out to the market
galles

And I have to say, to have an average of 46p, that's to say that there has either been a substantial averaging down (as a long term shareholder as we are at a historic low) involving selling high and bought back low, or only establishing a holding very recently. It's like the prior seeing that you were a 3% holder before. Offloading while talking up the shares?
