10/8/2023 09:14 | Can’t sell any online at all. Nobody wants it and I can see why. Come on you Ravi supporters, buy a few so I can move on. Then you won’t have to read my moaning about what a disgracefully run company this is for shareholders. | gbcol
10/8/2023 08:56 | Nearly done BB 😉 Edit: would have been out quicker but can only sell in small quantities. | gbcol
10/8/2023 08:56 | No chance CWA1, Ravi hasn’t got a clue about running a publicly listed company. Although, as I have said many times, it is actually in his interest to drive down the share price In that at least, he is proving very successful indeed. Those that go on about the divi, suggest you look a bit wider. Plenty of opportunities out there for income where they don’t also destroy capital value. | gbcol
10/8/2023 08:51 | Or...and this might seem radical...the company could update their owners as to how business is doing and, if it was positive, that might help the share price as well as giving us a little confidence and feel somewhat more valued?! | cwa1
10/8/2023 08:38 | When the seller has finished 🤣 | battlebus2
10/8/2023 08:31 | And the downward march continues today. Wonder when it will end... | cwa1
08/8/2023 16:31 | Lol I am glad you cleared that one up as it was not the word I thought you were referring to.....Lucky you did not go for ISA's at heart and have a typing error as my partner is 'Lisa' and I may have been really concerned hehe | davidosh
08/8/2023 16:16 | Interests!!!! | 97peter
08/8/2023 15:39 | Well I'm certainly glad he's looking after our Teresa's... | cwa1
08/8/2023 15:34 | Davidosh that is still true! I am a consultant part time, and do some work for OFGP on Cyber Security! I have spoken to Ravi and informed him of the comments and slight unrest of investors on ADVFN and LSE bulletin boards! He is very hard working and has your Teresa’s at heart! OFGP is a very very small PLC with less than 25 staff, plus always looking for new markets to use Lendxp and expand!! The drop in share price is purely the LSE and global markets, interest rates and a slight dip / recession in UK!!! | 97peter
08/8/2023 15:09 | Just to remind everyone. This was posted in February by 97peter... Davidosh, and others. Yes ido buy and sell large amounts, but that is purely moving my SIPP funds between different investments!!! Nothing else. I am a LTH. Currently that is only 300,000 shares and that will stay that way until September. I am close to Ravi and speak to him and e mail him on a weekly basis as I work for OFGP - Orchard Funding Group PLC as a contractor Cyber Security Consultant to work on their policy, process and procedures, plus to advise on Protective Monitoring and IDAM on the Orchard data within AWS and their two SaaS. Everything I have added here and on LSE has been as a Private investor, but with some insight and knowledge of internal workings! It is a tightrope walk, as to what I can and cannot put on here! However i do pass on and highlight any comments, questions and issues to Ravi personally from all posters on here and LSE Bulletin boards. If this at times is contrary or confusing I apologise whole heartedly it is not testimonial! My holdings have always been open and above board, speak with Ravi or ask Q&A questions to him and the board via the Investor Rekations, he does reply normally within 48 hours. So if you want news or answers to whether a share buyback is an option do it via the IR page. | davidosh
08/8/2023 14:54 | Patience and those 26,000 , 2 x 13,000 sells were buys! Mine! The markets are all on standby and awaiting to see what happens in the US! | 97peter
03/8/2023 17:35 | Hi gbcol: as you know, every trade is really both a buy and a sell since there are two parties involved. Each trade is reported as a 'buy' or a 'sell' by the exchange, based on whether the price paid was above or below the mid-price between the bid and offer. Given that the share price only moved 1 p in July, with volume of ~53,000 shares traded, having 3013 shares named as 'buys,' by the exchange, out of the total shares traded may give a misleading impression. In my opinion, the price Ravi would pay to take it private, is not dependent on where it trades at now. As soon as he indicates that he wants to do this by e.g. issuing a tender offer, the price would shoot up to nearer book price. However, I don't think that he wants to do this and I consider it unlikely that he would take the company private: more likely he would sell his stake to a potential acquirer. I appreciate your frustration with the poor communication, and I am also underwater on my holding on average. However, in the meantime there is a 7.25% dividend yield, and since the shares are so undervalued I think it unlikely that they will fall much from here. So I think that you have quite good downside protection with a chance of upside, and in the meantime you can collect the dividend. Plus I agree with Konradpuss that Orchard would do well in a recession. People need to finance their compulsory (car) insurance premiums, even more in a recession than normal times. | valuewinsout
02/8/2023 18:02 | GB, I will - Time! And you are paid for the wait. | konradpuss
02/8/2023 17:55 | In the whole month of July there were only two days on which any shares in Orchard were bought. Two days. And the grand total of shares bought was a massive 3013. With zero communication from Ravi and the board except for those legally necessary, in all likelihood we will hear nothing further until the next results are issued in December. Another 4 or 5 months of radio silence, practically zero trades and continuing share price decline. If anyone can speculate on what can break this painful tailspin I’d be pleased to hear it because short of Ravi deciding that the share price has been trashed enough for him to be able to make an offer to take the company private I can’t see one. | gbcol
02/8/2023 06:18 | Not a chance of me putting anymore into this konradpuss. I got drawn into topping up as it fell from 60p and kept telling myself the inherent value would come through. I’m more likely to cut my ever growing loss and put it in something that might show a return- trouble is taking a 25%+ hit is hard to stomach. The trouble is Ravi has no interest in seeing the share price rise, in fact there is a strong argument that it suits him for it to go as low as possible. If he wants to take this private, the amount he will need to pay is going down and down with the share price | gbcol
01/8/2023 18:01 | GB, why don't you double down at this lower price? | konradpuss
01/8/2023 17:32 | The value is indeed there and will be realised at some point but by Ravi and his mates not but us shareholders IMO. The divi only looks good because they have crashed the share price I should have followed my instincts and dumped this dud at a 20% loss a couple of weeks ago, now it’s even worse. | gbcol
01/8/2023 11:34 | The value is there, and will be realised at some point. Good divi meantime. | cowie19
01/8/2023 10:58 | And still we grind relentlessly lower and lower. Still nothing from the company in terms of news-or even company profile awareness. Disappointing stuff | cwa1
27/7/2023 21:06 | I think the idea of getting a resolution at the AGM is a good one- but what would you like to put forward? I proposed a share buyback to Ravi by email but he doesn’t want to do it. I think that he doesn’t have an incentive to raise the share price because he can realise the true value ( above the current share price) if and when he wants to sell- he could probably sell the company to a bank at considerably higher than the current share price- because it’s valued at 50% of book price. Until then he can collect the dividends. However- a share buyback would be in his interests because then the same total dividend payment can be split between fewer shares, so it will be higher per share, and he will collect more money by keeping his existing holding, and it will be in our interest because it will boost the share price, plus raise the dividend payment. So I think that we should propose this at the AGM. The other thing a group of shareholders could ask for is a board seat. I have a fairly small holding but would be happy to vote my shares in favour of either of the these things. | valuewinsout
20/7/2023 21:17 | With the cash and the history of profit and dividends, there is margin of safety. | galles
20/7/2023 20:06 | Some stocks might look cheap, however if I am right and a big down turn comes in quarter four of this year, the market might be right with some valuations. Corporate profits could go down generally by twenty percent. By the way I think Orchard would do well in a big recession. | konradpuss |
