01/12/2022 07:48 | End game could be a tie up with a major. Until then 6% dividend. | battlebus2
01/12/2022 07:36 | bb2 - thank you. Yes, they do look pretty good - I wasn't aware of broker expectations. The retail bond might be good, too, 6.25% to 06/27. | jonwig
01/12/2022 07:30 | Close bros and Premium credit. Great results though slightly below targets. Tighter market means broker has cut its target to 64p from 81p. I’m happy to stay with them. | battlebus2
01/12/2022 07:19 | Here are the results. I'll let others judge them, as I don't know the company well enough: They say, "We operate in a very competitive market, dominated by two very large and aggressive financial institutions." Who are these, please? Provident, maybe? | jonwig
29/11/2022 09:25 | They don’t seem too keen on releasing the results or indeed communicating with their shareholders. Very nearly 6 months since last RNS telling us year end results would be +25% uplift on prior expectations. Personally I like a bit more info coming out of companies I invest in. Hopefully results when they finally bother to release them will get the share price moving up again but as a fairly new shareholder here I’m not too impressed to date. | gbcol
24/11/2022 13:19 | Same. A bit more volume today. Based on what time they usually publish the results and if they come this week, that leaves tomorrow morning ? | belfry17
24/11/2022 08:36 | I thought it'd be first thing this morning but still nothing from them | galles
23/11/2022 17:38 | You could even argue more than 65p. I see no reason that this should trade below it’s NTAV of about 17m. There is good reason for most second tier lenders to trade at a significant discount to NTAV which is because you are always at risk of large impairments. Orchard is different, they have miniscule impairments relative to their loan book because of the small size of the individual loans but also because of the way the loans are structured. If someone stops paying their car insurance, Orchard receive the remaining loan back from the car insurance company which means they don’t have to chase the private individual that is in arrears. I could potentially understand the valuation if we were making tiny returns but you’re getting the security on top of a 6.5% dividend yield and probably more like a 15-20% earnings yield (we shall find this out soon enough!) | florence141414
23/11/2022 10:45 | Belfry and Galles, should be today or tomorrow we hear about divi? Plus the buys were 70,000 me, plus there are only the CEO , plus one other director in Orchard. They are a very well run company with less than 20 employees globally. They have a few staff in India, the rest are UK based. Patience and we will see the divi announcement and see the share price hopefully get back to where it should be, between 55 and 65p. | 97peter
23/11/2022 08:21 | Yeah, people positioning themselves ahead of the results. Should be anytime now, maybe tomorrow | galles
22/11/2022 17:26 | Yes, bigger trades than usual. Can't really be directors due to results (hopefully!) this week | belfry17
22/11/2022 17:04 | Nice bit of volume today | galles
15/11/2022 17:12 | Oh, and looking forward to the announcement | galles
15/11/2022 17:11 | Great that you did and they never replied to mine. Grrrr | galles
15/11/2022 17:05 | Thanks peter | belfry17
15/11/2022 16:43 | Thanks 97peter | gbcol
15/11/2022 16:07 | Had a reply their will be news and a divi announcement next week. | 97peter
12/11/2022 12:26 | Patience needed I suspect. Probably trying to finalise the audit! | topvest
08/11/2022 20:42 | Afraid not. The way they invite enquiries via their form on the website just doesn't give me confidence it's been read. I experienced similar with Volvere. I'd much prefer having their direct emails all day long | galles
08/11/2022 17:38 | Has anyone had a reply please? I would have expected results by now. | belfry17
04/11/2022 12:50 | I did too as it should be around now. Not heard back from them | galles
02/11/2022 19:10 | Agree Belfry17, I have e mailed investor relations and CEO and have requested an update RNS and comma asap. | 97peter
02/11/2022 18:55 | And more about the increase profits in black and white, which seems to have been ignored by the market. | belfry17
02/11/2022 18:09 | Hopefully we will see a RNS tomorrow telling us if 2p divi date of 15 Dec 22 with an ex divi date of 22 Nov 22 announced tomorrow?? All things are looking good with Orchard and is a steady share!!! | 97peter |
