Risky - michaelmouse has already demonstrated he has a knowledge-gap in the several areas, including, accounting, read accounts, business development, planning and growing a business, executing a business plan, global strategy, business space, JV's, cost reduction, cost sharing, etc, etc! He still thinks a demerger will result in major dilution of OPTI shares and I dare say he remains confident OPTI are running out of money, even though I have demonstrated he is wrong on both counts. It at least explain why he has a habit of investing in frauds....2 by my count and another with very questionable business model...will it turn out to be a hatrick of frauds for the guru?

Michaelmouse has not yet worked out nobody really cares for his opinion, we are just humouring him out of pity...OK, it's fun!

"I think you need to learn about working capital in relation to growing businesses."

From the October update:-

"OptiBiotix's weight management division is now profitable with growing sales of GoFigure products and great consumer feedback and reorders."

Ummm.... So not that profitable that it can generate cash to plow back into the business then? Odd? What was the additional investment £75,000? That's not much to find out of sales for working capital purposes. Sell stock, use the money to buy more stock. Simple. Very odd?

'FFS. LOL. If demand was so great they wouldn't have to pump money into it would they? Think about it.'I think you need to learn about working capital in relation to growing businesses. The investment is a very good sign for what's to come for go figure - the very least financially rewarding of the multiple opportunities.

Spartacus (Kirk Douglas) is actually alive and well. He has just turned 100 in fact. He has a great microbiome apparently which keeps his vitality going.

One of the big problems is the industry itself. Thinking changes almost every millisecond.

Eggs are good for you, no they're bad for you, no they're good for you etc

Here's the key.

Eat a sensible balanced diet and exercise regularly. There is no magic bullet.

Oh hang on....is that michaelmouse backtracking again!

You implied; 1: I was John Henry, 2: The email JH received from SOH was not genuine, 3: Jim Laird departure was not planned, 4: We as investors were not being told the truth

Well blow me over...as soon as I offer proof you suggest I am not reading your post correctly - You little tinker!

OK, let us look at it this way...If Jim Laird departure was not planned, as you suggest, how good is our CEO if he can just pluck a new CD out of the air so quickly and seamlessly and of such calibre.

In your humble opinion, is Per better suited to OPTI global ambitions or do you think Jim is? And how did SOH manage to replace Jim so quickly if it was not planned as you suggest it was not? Have you any clue how long it would take to replace a CD...allow me to tell you...6 months! How do I know this you ask? SOH told me and who am I do say otherwise.

As for your blog...I have been there before and caught you out before. Let's not do this dance again, we all know by now you can edit it to suit and make you look how you wish, but as has been demonstrated with many of your picks, which have tanked, ADVFN history is not so easily manipulated, just your posts history.

Diverse microbiome "critical" for successful dieting.

A new study has found that the kind of bacteria you have in your gut will impact your attempts to lose weight. Gut bacteria has a big impact on dieting, the study found. A new study has found that eating healthily and exercising regularly may not be the only two things that determine whether or not you can fit into those suit trousers from ten years ago.

Instead, the team from Washington University discovered that most dieters are hampered in their efforts to lose weight because of the trillions bacteria in their gut.

Those of us with a ‘Western’; diet (processed foods, higher amounts of animal proteins etc) tend to have a less diverse microbial range, which can make losing weight a difficult and slow process.

The microbiome – as the trillions of gut bacteria are otherwise known – has been the subject of much research for years now, but only in the past 12 months or so has its importance really become mainstream news.

One company which has been exploring the link between gut bacteria and weight loss for a while now is OptiBiotix Health plc (LON:OPTI).

Its Slimbiome ingredients – which are used in the GoFigure range of products – increase the microbial diversity and numbers of healthy bacteria in your gut.

“The greater the microbial diversify the more likely you are to be able to diet more easily and sustain that weight loss,” says OptiBiotix’s chief executive Stephen OHara.

“[Using our products] people are losing weight very quickly – up to 3lbs a week, they’re losing it very easily so they don’t feel hungry, but more importantly they’re all sustaining that weight loss.”

OHara adds that the science behind his firm’s technology has been around for a few years now but it’s taken time for the practice to catch up with the theory.

“We’ve had the science [for a little while], but sometimes science doesn’t work in practice. What we’re seeing now is that the actual products we’re creating and selling are working.”

The general public is starting to catch on as well, with OptiBiotix having to pump more money into its subsidiary The Health Weight Loss Company to keep up with demand.

elrico - You have a problem. You see I invest in micro-caps, and I've done (let's say) pretty well. You should read this from around this time last year:-

Since then of course, Avesco was taken out for £6.50 per share. If posting was a problem then imagine what it's like now. In addition, I've no intention of alerting little sh*ts like yourself to possible opportunities.

Since I like commenting on different companies, that just leaves the overvalued tripe.

Oh dear!

Back to not answering awkward questions are we! If your TA is anything like your reading of accounts...2 frauds and another that creates the illusion of a growth company but burns cash and pays a divi to fool the fools while the share price tanks c80%.

Owenmo - michaelmouse is not alone, I find I have many pseudonyms when my counterpart finds he/she is losing the debate. I'll just have to put John Henry down as yet another of my schizophrenic friends. I just hope michaelmouse watches and listens to our PM has to say about people with mental health issues and offers some compassion.
