13/1/2017 09:28 | Now being quoted 67.4p for 50K. Now we've broken out of the trend we seem to be getting lots of interest. | parob
13/1/2017 09:25 | JH, Why do you think we have an II buyer? Could be anyone. And more importantly mostly small buys indicate not an II Good start whatever. Lets hope it holds and the sellers dont spoil the party as usual | judijudi
13/1/2017 09:22 | MMs are clearing this seller, would appear they have a II buyer. | john henry

13/1/2017 09:05 | The trades around 6.1/6.2 showing as buys must be sells. Nice to have it that way round for once! Bid is creeping up.I must admit I couldn't resist another nibble first thing as it's starting to look really good here. The bulls finally (!) seem to be exhausting the bears. And I'm sure the whole year of consolidation during 2016 will do wonders for the share price going forward. | parob

12/1/2017 22:42 | I have been trying to work out what sort of market the unnamed Indian MN believed to be Tata will be focussing on; impossible really and of course pure guesswork. However, Tata already have a ready made market for slimbiome products, dependant on their business relationship with 50/50 JV with Starbucks in India. As I am sure we all know, Starbucks is not just about coffee, there are quite a few sweeties to be had and I'm wondering if Tata will be developing their own brands to sit alongside other produce in the Starbucks. What really caught my eye was this little gem; Tata Chemicals has a c500-tonne per annum plant in Chennai to make nutraceuticals — oligosaccharides (better known as probiotics) and polyols (artificial sweeteners that are more beneficial than the conventional aspartame) — which will be used by food and pharma companies. The plant is estimated to bring in Rs3-3.5 billion in revenue, selling to big names such as Dabur, Kraft and Nestle. For decades the consumer face of the company was the iconic Tata Salt brand, which reaches 650 million households every year and has been named among the most trusted food brands in India. Sample of their own brands aimed at healthier lifestyle they seem to be pushing for the Indian consumer. Interesting link which you can see there are several options for OPTI IP portfolio. But for now, I think we are looking in the main at Slimbiome. It is obvious sugars would be an ideal suit for the some of Tata brands. | elrico

12/1/2017 18:28 | Ignore whom Ibokke? :) | owenmo
12/1/2017 18:11 | Owen, sorry I was typing and didn't see your post. I will ignore him(?) from now on. | 1bokke
12/1/2017 18:07 | Spot on Neft, it seems the fool doesn't realise I'm responding because it's amusing to see someone trying to blag it when every post shows ineptitude. Trying to disguise hindsight as intelligence is quite common and fortunately very transparent and the mouse appears to be quite familiar with the practise. Mouse you need to grow up. | 1bokke
12/1/2017 18:05 | Hey guys, it's quite unhealthy they amount of time and energy this "Ummmmm..." guy devotes to this bb. I suggest it's treated as an ailment and, as such, ignored inasmuch as none of us can offer an antidote for want of proper diagnosis. Imagine the benefits to him as a person were he to dedicate this energy towards something constructive in his own life rather than in poisonous, destructive prose that seems to absorb him from morning 'til night. I have suggested before, we'd do him and the rest of us a favour in airbrushing him; chances are he'll get tired and move on - but I wouldn't bet on it. Could we agree, however, not a peep in response; I do think he's not too well, or at the very least is taking perverse pleasure in relentless attempted party-pooping. | owenmo
12/1/2017 17:47 | you have the cheek to ask a question (or is it rhetorical), when as Elrico says, you choose NOT to answer questions yourself. | neftanikoff
12/1/2017 17:32 | Genuine question:- In this mornings RNS they said :- "The first abstract will cover the results of the clinical study" Are they referring to this?:- If they are then I don't think the scientific community will put much faith in the results from a voluntary 10 man and his dog study. Even 50 people in each category wouldn't be that convincing never mind 50 volunteers altogether. | michaelmouse
12/1/2017 17:15 | It's because I've just finished a nice piece of chocolate cake 1bloke. Ummmmm...... ;) I can't see "real" sugar going out of fashion any time soon can you? I'll leave the fatties to swallow their "no figure" shakes or whatever the thousands of other brands are. | michaelmouse
12/1/2017 17:06 | When you write ummmm is it because:A. You are being sarcastic?B. You don't know how to finish a sentence?C. You are simply to immature and inept to construct a solid case to support your view? | 1bokke
12/1/2017 17:01 | Interesting how charts begin to tell a story? Downtrend has stayed firmly in place. Every bit of PR is having less and less impact. In fact share price either shows a modest gain or even falls when supposed good news is released. Last placing was February 2016. Ummmmmmm............ | michaelmouse
12/1/2017 16:36 | I'm certainly starting to like the daily chart, close around this level tomorrow I'll start liking the weekly. | john henry
12/1/2017 16:11 | Neft - it is not just OPTI, he trolls quite a few TW/SP company BB, so much so he hardly has an opinion on his own holding anymore. Wonder why? I'll tell you, his record is poor; I and other have proved this if you go back in time. Accrillium used to put charts of his fav 5 companies and all and I do mean all tanked. It is a petty she is not still around, because she was tenacious and merciless when it came to highlighting michaelmouses shortcomings. | elrico |
