What Mickey Mouse doesn't understand is that this is a quasi-biotech. On Nasdaq, biotechs are valued much more highly with lot less of a story behind them (there is talk of a Nasdaq listing for OPTI which would send the stock stratospheric). This company is moving from the research stage to the commercial stage and revenues won't be far behind. Costs are very low, so the profit potential is large. Biotechs need triggers and they move up and down on news of FDA progress. This company has got multiple triggers in the pipeline from more commercial deals with larger parties. As some people have already pointed out, being over a £100m market cap means that i)IIs will become more interested and ii) potential partners will feel more comfortable signing deals with OPTI. Of course there will be a pullback and it could be quite large so keep some powder dry. DYOR

Guys it's been said time and again will be self funding by calendar year end.

The rise and demand we are seeing isn't due to high expectations in results.

It's down to the pent up demand from uhnwi and ii and the forthcoming news that's expected.

Someone has been happy to mop up the profit taking this morning which as has been said is very healthy.

Ive mused off the boards about US insti interest considering we seem to motor in the afternoons.

H1 covers only up to end of May so less likely than further into the year but some indicative statement without numbers would be welcome. On past experience SOH may be less forthcoming than many would like.

Many in Opti are also in TERN. Sadly many will be playing with borrowed money. There are consequences to chucking money willy nilly at "story" stocks. Particularly money you don't actually have.

Don't follow TERN too closely, but really don't see why the market cap. is so high even after today's drop and reality check.
