It's just everywhere. Read one article today saying that scientists in USA have linked a healthy gut to avoiding heart problems. And an article in the mail saying that you can get a flat tummy second only bettered by sit ups out of 8 options ... by taking gut probiotics ... optibac biotics being a company they quote. Note name does SOH KNOW ... ELRICO PERHAPS YOU COULD FORWARD TO HIM

Sideways consolidation is usually followed by a big move in the direction of the trend.

My year end target may arrive much sooner than I thought at this rate. The 70% rise over the last 5 weeks happened without news.

QS - there will be lots to come but have you missed the other 19 commercial deals? Multiple deals already done and share price should have been here ages ago, we were held back!

Some here have spoken about the fact that institutions are more likely to buy into companies that have valuations greater than £100m.

Another big plus of having a more substantial market capilisation is, it gives potential licensees, partners and retailers greater confidence to commit to bigger deals.

A bigger stronger company signs deals with bigger stronger companies. And thus gets even bigger and stronger.

Positive feedback loop. Virtuous circle. etc etc.

That article really does exemplify how ahead of the curve Opti are. Not only do we already have these products already on the market selling as supplements but are readying to license out this science to create a pharmaceutical product which could rival statins. The clinical results showed that the higher the starting cholesterol the higher the overall reduction in cholesterol. If this is repeated with a larger number of subjects who all have high starting cholesterol rather than average to moderately raised then on to the jackpot. If this happens once the optiscreen division is spun out imo that company alone will be worth upwards of 3/4x Optis whole current mkt cap. Long road to go though yet! Begin to get an idea of how and why SOH has used Optibiotix as an investment vehicle to create multiple companies within Opti. This new space is the fastest growing industry and is seen by experts to be the next revolution in healthcare. No wonder the chairman (an expert in the food industry) is loading up.

Lengthy article on the microbiome in What Doctors Dont Tell you August US edition. Under the heading Probiotics, not statins:the gut of the matter.
Heart disease is the latest health
problem that’s been discovered
to start in the gut: instead of
taking statins, heart patients could
instead be treated with probiotics that
repopulate the gut with healthy bacteria,
say researchers. It joins a growing list of
other inflammatory problems, including
rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis,
inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and
multiple sclerosis, that also have their
origins in the gut.
