Director's dealing

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI), a life sciences business developing compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes and skin care was notified on 30 July 2018 that Neil Davidson, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, acquired 103,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 30 July 2018, representing 0.12% of the Company's issued share capital, at a price of 98.6 pence per share.

Previously to this notification, Mr Davidson held 375,000 ordinary shares in the Company. Therefore Neil Davidson's total shareholding represents 0.6% of the Company's issued share capital.

This announcement contains inside information for the purposes of Article 7 of EU Regulation 596/2014 and the person who arranged for release of this announcement on behalf of the Company was Stephen O'Hara, Chief Executive.

They aren't the only buyers in town so pi buying causing the big boys some issues.

Great to see after 3 years of believing in management and the company.

Well done to those that kept the faith. I think from soh recent demeanour we aren't going to be disappointed.

It's really not needed Tony.

Some very large players are driving the price at present and that's without any commercial Rns for a month and without the BIG news many expect.

Id like to see these guys fill their boots and then start seeing the bigger commercial deals announced.

The IC podcast interview published this morning was nicely done. The interviewer asked pertinent questions I thought that allowed SOH to explain present focus and all the potential for the future

You've been able to sell really good chunks above mid price for weeks now.

My thoughts are there are more than 1 party buying hence wins and cantor both jockeying for stock.

There's been some chunky trades going through and sells are being mopped up.

They will play the chart too.

Interestingly it was fincap the house broker that kept a lid on it this morning so I'm more than sure soh wants these strong hands in at these levels to give us a strong base and support for the coming news.

In the medium term it will benefit us all.

Thanks Scotty. But if all other buyers keep buying as well, how do the MMs have the power to keep the price at say 100? Surely if the stock isn't about due to lack of sellers then the IIs either pay higher or don't get their order filled? Still don't fully understand to be honest...
