28/6/2018 13:58 | Rayrac is a prime example of someone who fails to understand the model and unfortunately there are still many others who believe similar even though it is unbelievably clear to see it unfolding now.The window of time until the lag from deal to revenue is closing in which is when it will be spelt out in growing revenues even the most simple of minds will understand. They just can not wrap their heads around the fact Opti are not selling the product to these companies but giving licensing rights to use the IP. The time in between is obviously these companies readying to launch a new product. They will have a rough idea in terms of forecasts but SOH and board will want a trading history from a number of each to forecast accurately. The only sympathy I can give is that it is a difficult model to understand and is very different to most.It has been a long wait, and if you look back at earlier RNS it was often stated something like 'multiple products multiple partners, though time consuming to build significantly increases the scale of the opportunity' this is exactly what has been happening during this lull stage of share price growth. The cat will be out the bag soon. | ![]() riskybusiness1

28/6/2018 13:24 | How close are you too Opti elrico!! Sounds pretty darn close to me. Whatever makes you think I’ve got a brass neck coming onto this thread, there’s not one shread of evidence that Opti have income as a result of all these “agreements You can call the so-called agreements!! With other companies , agreements. But what do they mean in actual finance too Opti. If there’s cash coming into opti, then you can bet they would rush to inform the market! It’s about time they did. | ![]() rayrac

28/6/2018 13:11 | Excellent post riskybusiness. Raf, the ceo is responsible for the news which feeds the markets, so it is his fault. He and his team have done a sterling job, they just haven't got the message through to the thicko's yet. | slartybartfaster
28/6/2018 12:46 | Revenue forecasts aside, I think the touch-paper will only be properly lit when we hear the words "Tesco", "Boots", "Sainsbury's" or "Asda" in an RNS. | ![]() colinzeal

28/6/2018 12:18 | Ray - with respect (tong-in-cheek) you're in no position to lecture anyone here on the merits of OPTI. Frankly, I don't know how you have the brass-neck to show up. I guess it must be the negative share price day that attracts you. The problem in part is OPTI BOD not being transparent enough, and while I understand their motives for not offering low-end revenue guidance based on raw ingredients shipped, the greater fear for the BOD is they have no control on the delivery of shipped goods for sales, thus royalties booked. Over-egging these by 20% would result in a profit warning, so the tactic is to say nothing. Well as we can see, this tactic is playing into the hands of the traders and MM manipulating movements for their clients, hence why L2 is a perfect tool for the transfer of wealth. The reality is OPTI share price is c24p lower than when the first LP-LDL agreement was announced, some 15 months ago; in this time OPTI have signed a further 15 agreements across 3 platforms. In 30+ years I cannot recall a company announcing so many commercial agreements and or the share price being lower than when the first was announced. Anyone without a lonely brain-cell can see significant game changing progress, but the focus is on the share price because that is where the MMs what you focus, not the commercial progress. Smart money moves in on weakness, not capitulate in the face of such progress, it's not a good strategy. And don't tell me you want your money to work for you, its dead money here...moving it offers no guarantees the grass is greener....those that sold to fund the bitcoin bubble learned this the hard way. | elrico
28/6/2018 11:25 | The trouble is if the rise goes as far as we all think, getting in at 65p now or 75-80p once it starts may be immaterial in the long run so lots are waiting for it to start before wading in I think. | ![]() deeppockets
28/6/2018 11:22 | Then it will be too late IMHO. The smart money reads between the lines. The amount of deals signed and the increasing larger scale of the partners is there for all to see. Soh is a genius - name me another company that gets 3 bites of the cherry on some of these deals. That latest Rns states they are almost paying for exclusivity to be in talks! 28/6/2018 11:11 | A good comparison is IQE (a stock a few of us know well). For years the share price trundled along in a predictable range, until 2017 when interest started picking up. Over the course of that year it rose from about 20p to over 160p. An 8 fold rise that took its valuation from just over £140m to well over £1bn. What caused the rise? Nothing. No hard numbers, no major contract wins, no vast increase in earnings. It was all down to a growing realisation that their tech (compound semiconductor wafers) was going to see a huge increase in usage in the future. And as the price rose, more and more people took an interest and bought into the story. The same WILL happen with OPTI - at some point. We just don't know when. But I'm increasing my holding in anticipation... free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ![]() someuwin

28/6/2018 11:02 | I think some people are under the illusion their opinion matters, dry wells, death spiral placings and the fact they keep mentioning they got sucked into some meldex or bprg fraud, somehow lends the credibility. Rayrac you are the biggest fool here, which takes some doing with the likes of monkey and mickymouse as for competition. | paulhoodwinked
28/6/2018 10:56 | SOH said break even this year so the money IS coming in! Commercial stage only began last May! It takes time! People expecting millions revenue less than a year! | primal123
28/6/2018 10:53 | It’s a shame, but I can see this going into the abyss without some decent financial progress hitting the bottom line. Billions of microbiome and Opti claiming they can (R) some of it?! This looks like ExGel and brg/meldex more and more. The idea looks good, but thats about it...looks. Better stick with oils judi? | ![]() rayrac
