People tend to hold off thinking it'll slip back down a penny or two (like it has done on many occasions)before they buy,one of these times it won't,could this be that time.

Per update on LinkedIn: For a company our size our Research team have done and are doing incredible well and we are delivering cutting edge science that translates into consumer products, with our SlimBiome and LPLDL being the first 2 example of commercialised products already on the market. Next in line is our novel oligosaccharides like the SweetBiotix and LPGOS.....

Don't know if I have suggested this before but, I have thought that OPTI could get SweetBiotix into pet foods.

The tie-up today is with a business that includes agricultural supplies, though that might just be a clue to who the company is (as said above), not an indication of SweetBiotix in livestock feed? More likely for human consumption.

Not so much a firework as a volcano!

Bernie

Spot on.

The critical point being they are paying us whilst they negotiate the bigger licensing deal.

So a global player and a global dairy company both very keen on sweetbiotix!!

But don’t the big boys HAVE to wait now TT, or have I misunderstood the exclusivity arrangement of the 6 month assessment period?

I think Sweetbiotix is happening much quicker than many realise. We are attracting global interest at a time when sugar replacement is high on everyone’s agenda. I hope this area of OPTI is going to move fairly quickly.

Should be a £100 million market cap at least at this stage with the deals cumulative effect! IMO

It's like watching a really disappointing firework... lots of noise and strong rise only to fizzle out before the big bang :(

Someuwin, couldn’t agree more. Once people realise this deal could make OPTI on its own they will be after the shares.

So a 100b turnover company is paying Opti at least 100k to not do any other deals for Sweetbiotix for six months whilst they negioate full terms for licensing. Guess they really want this eh? Says it all tbh. What an astounding deal. Full credit for the bod for this. Surely the start of a rerating to more sensible levels....

Parob - yep it's Cargill for me - they also have a thriving 'sweeteners' arm to their business, produce consumer foods and agricultural products and have annual revenues of $150 million'ish.

I think you could be on to something there. The clue being agricultural products. Will research more later but for now Cargill is a front-runner for me.

A great RNS let's face it everyone is worried about either high collestoral, high blood pressure or becoming diabetic. This company has products that help fight all of them. Which is why so many big outfits want some of it. A great investment !!!
