A repost of my post made just after last week's placing RNS:I get the impression we won't be waiting too long until a Pharma partner in the USA is announced. Skin deal with UOM came the following month after the Feb 2016 placing. SOH comment in RNS at the time:"The funds will be used to further accelerate our development programmes to capitalise on the growing number of opportunities arising in the rapidly evolving microbiome space and build shareholder value."Look where SBTX is now.SOH comment after recent placement: "It has become clear that new opportunities, particularly the development of LP(LDL) (R) into a pharmaceutical product, the high level of corporate interest in SweetBiotix across multiple applications, and the potential for listing a range of Health and Wellbeing products with major retailers are not achievable in the short term within current resources. Rather than delay these opportunities until OptiBiotix has sufficient revenues to cover costs, the Board has decided to take additional funds to capitalise on these growth opportunities and build shareholder value."I think we have a good idea of what's coming next.

I cant help thinking by the price action that 50k @ 70p was a limit order. (or part of a limit order)

We will never know off course unless anyone confesses!

They were bidding strong even when the price was down.

Someone's in for more I think as they've been bidding very well in large size.

Very encouraging end to the day. It seems that very few of the placees are selling any stock. I am sure the MMs were banking on that to fill their short books so IMHO we could see a sharp rise now.

Guys haven't had time to read posts but broker called to ask if offload a few.

Current bid is 69.2p - almost mid price- for 50k.

Those ii want more.

Competition is good, not a negative. Our Universities are full of developing sugar, salt and saturated fat reduction and replacement. <1% will ever see a production run never mind be seen on any shelves or used in any Commercial Plant or Restaurant chains.

DuPont are mentioned in the link above by parob, as been involved with the same developments as opti. If they are not partnering opti, then not good?

Still won’t touch it...not till it strikes a really decent cash generating deal. There’s no sign of it yet and, if DuPont are not in as a partner, then there’s likely to be trouble ahead. It’s looking more and more like a big boy only game!
