08/6/2018 18:43 | After the coming six months I would expect a steady climb with some spikes to a steady state of about 200p. And a lot more after that once some pharma deals start to emerge with commercial revenues. The future for the business is very good, but still developing; hence my view, early doors with some risk. But if the CEO navigates cash flow in the best possible way A GREAT FUTURE LIES AHEAD. The CEO will do things right I feel sure, given time...18 months....before total takeoff is realised...imo. | bobalot

08/6/2018 15:24 | Rathean8 Jun '18 - 15:09 - 36251 of 36251 --- Consider this---can OPTI finance those deals without more placings --- probably not imo -- MORE PLACINGS ARE LIKELY BUT THEY WILL BE WELL FOUNDED JUSTIFICATIONS LONGER TERM. This is just my take on the issues facing the business in light of the recent 2.5 million placing --- long term invest will be rewarded --- short term expect more volatility imo. | bobalot
08/6/2018 15:09 | Rayrac all it takes is for any one of the dozen or so large deals to nail it with product sales and the income will flood in. My only concern here is timing, by their own assign revenues will be delayed anyway due to large corporations slow to pay up, so we might not see anything substantial until 2019... and how much income has already been priced in?Still got my double up trigger set for sub-60p. | rathean
08/6/2018 14:51 | In Jan 2015 OPTI had a stockrank of 23. Its share price was 28p. | pj 1
08/6/2018 14:50 | No positives PJ until they show some cash at the bottom line. I think the IC has hit the button on this one. Wouldn’t touch Optitrix with the proverbial. Where the heck is income coming from, enough to get into profit? | rayrac
08/6/2018 14:50 | May be useless but a lot of people will read it. We all know we should be a lot higher just no one else believes it! | rafboy

08/6/2018 14:34 | It's obvious that the Rampers have no idea how the market operates. | monkeywench1
08/6/2018 14:33 | As an example, DIS has a stock rank of 10 and no market forecasts. It has just moved into profitability and also has no debt. It is currently up 16% today on Results. So as a stand alone system it has yet to pick up on the positives the Company is making | pj 1
08/6/2018 13:55 | Be IC right or wrong it doesn't help the cause. Perhaps you could email the article to SOH. Surely they have a PR person who could respond to IC re futures articles | suzypink
08/6/2018 13:43 | elrico. Yes. a quick scan through Stockopedia and it is clear to see that almost all pre-rev Company's and early growth always score (very)low. This can be affected by Momentum though, so stocks that have a years share price appreciation will score higher than those without. However, to be fair to the system, basically >60% of stocks which =>80 will outperform the Market on a regular basis. They now have 5 years proof of that concept. Off course what the system cannot do is read RNS's and speak to Directors etc, so it should only be used as part of research and not a means to an end in isolation imo. It is also behind the curve somewhat with regards to placings/dilution/fu | pj 1

08/6/2018 13:30 | Correct PJ. Don't Stockopedia pride themselves on some sort of formula, which is part of a subscription serves? Seems to me it is flawed if it hasn't the scope to identify pre-commercial growth stock. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding their role? The IC piece is also well behind the curve. They clearly haven't spoke to OPTI. | elrico
08/6/2018 13:09 | Just read it. Sink rating really only down to lack of visibility of earnings, so nothing new there that existing holders don’t already know about. But it won’t help attract new investors. | imnotlong
08/6/2018 12:21 | I wouldn't worry about it. Stockopedia currently has OPTI as a very low 6 out of 100 score and classes it as a ''sucker stock'' and has had for some time now That will please TW!!! | pj 1
08/6/2018 12:17 | What reason does it give for a sink rating? | mouse20

08/6/2018 12:00 | Coincidental ?? Last week I dropped an email to the Investors Chronicle editor asking for a write up on the new biome companies. Hey presto an article today about 10 companies, 1 being OPTI. Very surprised though it got a SINK rating …. take a look | suzypink
08/6/2018 08:54 | VRS didn't quite hit my buy in price of 60p, gutted I missed that one but well done all those invested! Anyone interested in disruptive tech should also check out TERN which is currently breaking out on the chart. | parob
08/6/2018 08:13 | Good post meganxmas, both companies will be great. I just wish Opti were much better at exciting investors imagination. A big difference between the two companies in that respect in my view. | mouse20
08/6/2018 07:56 | Investing or hopping about ?? Investing both and I think both will be great companies. | meganxmas |
