Mr L-L is regularly in touch. He knows who he is and needs to prove nothing here

Elrico I'd let this one go; your integrity on BB isn't in question as consensus would have it.

I have personal experience of trying to make contact with SOH and like i say it was very difficult so i find it very hard to believe that he would so readily talk to an individual shareholder when he is all too aware of the AIM regulations that expressly warn against it. Im not suggesting the he has given you any inside information, i am saying that talking to individual shareholders puts him in a compromising position where it could be perceived that he has provided inside information. If you provide evidence of all the times you claim SOH has spoken to you and all his replies then yes I will apologise.

No ironman (if it's the question of pglancy's odd-bodness you query); it has something to do with paranoia in evidence were you to trace his observations back to their recent-enough origins. His opener was a classic.

Ironman - SOH has NEVER passed on inside info, he has only ever answered questions about IP and related topics. I am happy to pass on the email Anna sent me asking for my number so SOH could phone me about the Berlin shorting ring. We had a 25 min chat. You should be thankful we have an approachable CEO. So, please don't suggest I am a lair, I have NEVER lied on a public forum. If I send it are you going to be man enough to apologise?

Is that because he's dared to go against the guardian of OPTI that is Elrico?
He is of course correct in what he says. I personally spoke to SOH about 6 months ago and even back then I had to practically beg Anna to get him to calL me because AIM regulations strongly advise CEO's not to have direct contact with shareholders to guard against insider trading, so do you really think that 6 months down the line with all that is going on he would happily and instantly reply to an individual shareholder. I don't think so!

Here's a proposition - to all patient lths bb posters; all 20 of us, or as many as there may be; let's commit to meeting up for a celebration drink (not to mention an informal "get-to-know" - faces to names and all that - at next OPTI public session (Press briefing, agm or whatever) subsequent to share price breaking through £2. First round on me.

SOH on the Asian deal."Signed As announced. We hope to announce their name in the New Year but given the size of the company it would have taken 6-8 weeks to get corporate sign off and I like to inform shareholders asap."That was 16/12/16. I'm not falling into the trap of using the I word, but its save to say there could be an announcement anytime. No doubt the lawyers will have a big say on timing.

Listening again to the TW / Adam Reynolds podcast from 15th Dec last year.

Talking about the Asian focussed major multinational deal which had been announced two days earlier, Adam says...-

"hopefully by January / February time we will be able to announce who the customer is"

So the time is right...

Date: February 2, 2017

Researchers have found that the microorganisms residing in the intestines (microbiota) play a role in the development of high blood pressure in rats. The study is published in Physiological Genomics. It was chosen as an APS selectarticle for February.

Owenmo - I asked SOH about the journal publication just before Christmas; he would not name the journal or when it would be published. However, he did confirm OPTI's talks would be on "both the clinical study and work on the sugar which increased by 3x the cholesterol reducing effect." IMHO this will attract a lot of attention from a wide range of food, dairy, beverage and OTC as well pharma companies, A fact that should not be lost, given OPTI are set to go commercial with several products will significantly derisk both sugar, cholesterol & hypertension IP, which may well speed up DD processes for future product related IP where exclusivity is not an issue.

I suppose one of the days we'll get to hear what SOH had to say for himself in Berlin yesterday. But then we've heard it all before? Or have we? Is next week poised to be anti-climactic too? Unless perchance an RNS Tuesday?

Elrico - no reason not to be very optimistic that we take off like ASOS. The more one looks at the science the more I think this company is a no brainer investment. Another reference to Opti in shares magazine this week. It mentions that 15.9% of over 18s in Europe are obese. It says that Opti is working with food, wellbeing and pharmaceutical companies to bring its platforms to market (although no names mentioned).

elrico - I don't think your statement is completely outlandish - maybe a tad optimistic, but I share your optimism.

The big difference between OPTI and ASOS is that ASOS remained one entity. OPTI may split into as many as four. Although we don't know how many shares we would qualify for, all four could generate signicicant shareholder value. The split could also protect us from a premature takeover that would deny us the chance to reap long-term rewards. If one of the new companies was bought out, we could remain invested in the others.

There's no other share I'm invested in that generates even a fraction of the excitement I feel from this one - despite having initially bought in at 86p and having been making a loss for over a year!

Judging by the emails and PM I need to explain my comment about OPTI being better than ASOS as an AIM prospect. I agree it sounds outlandish and I APPEAR to be getting ahead of myself. When I am comparing the two, it is on the basis of ASOS was as a fledgling internet retailer, very much under the radar where it was just potential, hope and very speculative, pretty much where OPTI is now. The difference in the two companies, ASOS is no longer unique and can be replicated and indeed has, OPTI is like ASOS was, well ahead of it's competition, except there is no real competition just yet. As outlandish as my comparison was, is, I stand by it, with the caveat, OPTI has yet to unlock the value where like ASOS, it attracts the tracker funds, etc, which will happen when OPTI consolidates above the £100m market cap...which I feel is as close as end of Q2, IMHO.

Just bought more shakes and bars on Amazon, £16.76 for the shakes plus 10% discount on both shakes and bars if you buy 2 or more. Not a bad deal at all.
