Wolf street on LSE board said he's sold.
I've asked him when did he sell, and, was it one trade or several.
I said I was asking because folks on here today have said they've bought and it's been recorded as a sell, so I was cautious.

If and when I get a reply back I will let you know.

I definitely think something is amiss, I have bought over 11k today so I am definitely not selling... If you think about the anticipated news flow over the next few weeks/ months then even a betting man/woman/transgender/binary or any other group( trying to learn my pc skills) would be thinking twice about selling. We all know nothing on AIM is a cert but I think Opti has to be about as solid as it gets...

It is a shame when the mm.s work a buy order for a larger order at the expense of the smaller shareholder. The confusion showing this afternoon shows the concern an unwarranted drop can create. It will show after the bell or early tomorow if I am right.

So you think it's just scare tactics perhaps? Sea of red...Folk think everybodies selling so they just hop on board in panic...
As you say, we're just guessing...
Be interesting to see what the UT closing price is though all the same...
Good luck

Trotters Trading, good on you for buying more, although your story of not much stock around, i beg to differ, otherwise , why do they only allow a sell of a paltry 500 shares before a phone call has to be made?

If you are in this long term you shouldn't be worried about day to day price action. We all know what's coming and it will be coming very soon now.

primal, i am not at a loss, but i not pleased, how anyone can be with this price behaviour is beyond me, i can relate to all this so called news and have done research.

Added a few on the drop. No huge amount of stock available which tells me it's a bit of a false drop to fill orders

Neft, you sound like a person who has bought in higher and is now making a loss. Sell as you haven't done any research.

Just taken 8000 more as I believe February will be a massive month for OPTI! Some interesting names on the list for this weeks conference...in particular Nestle!

I'm seeing this as a back-test of the area around 74.00p, where the triple bottom was confirmed. Also, the 200 day SMA - though that cannot be seen as support as it is still falling...albeit, only just.

Anyway, that 5000 was my top-up at 73.20p!

agreed ... hopefully that is the case and will bear fruit. word of mouth with products like this is massive and getting well placed adverts or endorsed articles / blogs even more so. personally i would be trying to get online comparisons / reviews with slimfast.

parob, maybe you should have resisted looking at the current price, just too many selling

Meganxmas - Max told me they "engaged an SEO and social media specialist! They cost an arm and a leg but we are so pleased with links." This was spotted by eagle eye, Parob, whom reported a recent spike in FB likes and follows, something which continues to rise daily. This sort of data usually compounds quite quickly.

Looking at the delayed trades over on LSE board, it was those 9 trades within a few minutes of each other that got the price to tumble...around 12.30 today.
Someone's playing games I think, IMHO.
it's either someone with a share account that you've got to make so many deals per week / month etc to maximum the dealing fees
Otherwise, you'd just sell in one trade..
Or
Someone deliberately trying to get the share price to tumble..
I've seen those sort of lump sort of trades within minutes which look out of the ordinary before. They just look different, too many rounded up, pre calculated tidy sells one sell after the other within minutes, as those someone's loading up the sell trade and pressing the button then loading up the next....
Just my thoughts.
Anyone else notice those sells and what's your take on it?

Nah a proper tree shake is more than a few pence. A return to the 60s would be a proper buying opportunity. This is just a faux opportunity for the over-excited :)

if i was on Dragons Den and marketing a product and had orders from Boots, and was looking for 75K, i would be excited. opti is a £57m listed company, now come on, soh, cut the talk and lets get some deals on the table, just why you get marked down for saying the truth ?

EDIT, presumably there are at least 2 people, probably more that are quite happy with the talk and a dropping sp, whatever
