03/2/2017 09:46 | Someuwin I'm still not ruling out a late Rns today. Not like Opti I know but I can't help thinking they will want to Rns something at the presentation. S | shrewdmole
03/2/2017 09:40 | Good call on the price action today Parob. Spot on sir. | bernieboy
03/2/2017 09:22 | I reckon we'll get news on the cardiovascular products next week. They've said the products will launch in spring 17 so only a few weeks away. They must have everything lined up but needed to announce the science at this week's conference first. If so...watch the share price rocket. | someuwin
03/2/2017 09:08 | Wints are consistently on the bid. Wonder if it's them that are loading up for ii? | shrewdmole

02/2/2017 18:38 | 1Socrates, Socrates1 would have come at this from a different angle, allow me propose. You clearly see potential - suggesting, for example, a share price of say £2 (as SOH offered as fair value last year). Are you therefore willing to sit on the fence? and for how long? in anticipation of share price contraction enabling you buy-in at a price less than to-day's? Might that be 60p? 65p? 50p? If £2 is in the offing, is it that important as to whether you bank a 300% profit or a 200% profit - bearing in mind that the higher % return is very much at risk inasmuch as it is contingent on share price receding from current levels - since, otherwise you won't take the plunge. I'm with Socrates1 - he's the man. If you believe, don't let it slip for a ha'pworth of tar. | owenmo
02/2/2017 18:09 | If the link works, here is a photo of Sofia kolida at Berlin today with an Opti poster.... | mouse20
02/2/2017 17:22 | Hope the share price keeps falling baby !! New to opti...not yet invested, so I'm hoping it goes as far south as possible ;-). When is SOH (CEO)speech at the Berlin conference ? I hope that hss zero impact on the share price ...needs to keep falling until a commercial deal is announced. | 1socrates
02/2/2017 17:21 | A little snippet from 'The Healthcare Opportunity' article/blog posted on the Woodford Funds website today: "As our regular readers will have gathered, we have strong conviction in the long-term investment case for the healthcare industry. We believe that many companies within this sector are extremely well-placed to deliver attractive returns to shareholders, especially when you consider the low-growth global economic environment that lies ahead. Healthcare is a vast and diverse industry with a mixture of mature, dividend-paying pharmaceutical companies and exciting, younger businesses based on incredible science and with exceptional long-term prospects." Of course Woodford has a huge stake in 4D pharma. Would love to see his funds crossing the 3% line in OPTI. ------------------ Just my opinion but I think we hit the bottom of this temporary dip today. I'm expecting the price to start climbing again tomorrow as investors take positions in anticipation of what should be a very exciting February. | parob
02/2/2017 17:08 | Interesting to see that J&J have made further investments in microbiome companies! I wonder how long before they want a piece of OPTI? Skinbiotix?? http://www.fiercebio | f3rdinand
02/2/2017 14:17 | You and me both JJ :) | 1bokke
02/2/2017 14:04 | I'll take a few more if we go sub 70p to buy Goes without saying that I hope I don't get the chance! | judijudi
02/2/2017 13:57 | So AG Barr and britvic accept serious headwinds to the business. One factor in the times today is the sugar levy. Now Barr are saying most of their drinks will be below the levy trigger by sugar content by the time it kicks in. But at what cost to flavour? If hazard a guess there are some serious drinks companies globally keeping a progress report on Optis healthy sugars. The AG Barr comment was in the times today. I just nibbled a few more as low volume days are usually red but with soh presenting I can see some serious interest early next week. Wouldn't rule out an Rns but either way the current presentations will make people take note. S | shrewdmole
02/2/2017 11:09 | Max is keeping quiet on this. The last I heard was he loved the flavour data I sent him (corporate poll via our email - over 400 replies) which identified the top 10 ten flavours. The priority is commercial deals and stock control, flavours later, when I don't know, but Max did say he will keep me in the loop as its not price sensitive. New branding will probably be ahead of new flavours (just an assumption on my part). Max did ask where I got the flavoured syrups I often use as a substitute for new flavours and slightly smoother shake with minimal increase in calories. He like this idea too. | elrico
02/2/2017 11:06 | Luminoso, yes and I would hope that any spike will create a new base level if it is on good news. | rafboy
02/2/2017 10:50 | elrico - any idea when the new GoFigure flavour(s) launch? | someuwin
02/2/2017 10:48 | Thank you Frank. Apparently, the Canadian link I posted last night has nothing to do with GoFigure themselves, FB posts say's they will investigate it. | elrico
02/2/2017 09:40 | Thanks Elrico you are very knowledgeable on OPTI good to have you here on this board. | frankwhite
02/2/2017 09:29 | True, rafboy but I am struck with the similarity of the chart to a point in the autumn of 2015. Just before the spike to £1 ( intraday ). | luminoso
02/2/2017 08:59 | Looks like we are all waiting for the direction, up or down. Doesn't matter if you are holding for the real returns to come. | rafboy
02/2/2017 07:44 | Frank, With respect, your article is from 2013 ! Did you read the comments why folk stop using it? Quote “The fake flavoring and sugar are not part of healthy living in the 21st century.” I think you'll find that's where Go Figure has the unique edge.... Just my thoughts... Good luck with your investment. | joyjoy13
02/2/2017 00:01 | Frank - with respect, you seem to be missing the point and value of GoFigure, or more importantly, Slimbiome. GoFigure is a vehicle for OPTI's first commercial IP. To quote SOH, "SlimBiome more of a means of establishing early market presence and revenues rather than a substantive shareholder value enhancer." This quote goes back to September 2016, before GoFigure, since then GoFigure has gained traction beyond everyone's expectations and proven a super conduit that has attracted household MN to OPTI, where there is huge scope migrate to other IP within the family, like cholesterol and hypertension and of course combine both. | elrico |
