'If they come!' Let's hope they won't and some substantial news comes this week!

One thing I found interesting yesterday was the OPTI tweet about interest from distributors of OPTI's products! To me this implies the cholesterol product is going to be 'gone alone'? Why else would they need to organise distributors..wouldn't this be the MN's job?

re your latest post, 1st para, 1st sentence, as far as i can see, you are incorrect.
On the first page of the trades on advfn, which includes those dealt on the other exchange, there are about 80 deals, of which only about only 3 to 4 are clearly sells at about 77p. The rest appear to be buys. I don't call that a decent amount of sells compared to buys. You can see this as clearly as i can. i think you are right in your 2nd sentence of the 1st para about last Friday. What it means, i know not. As predicted, after the penny share tip over the w/e, there were a lot of buys and maybe the mm knew what was coming and that is why they took the sells on Friday, but i am guessing. Whatever, we continue to wait for news which will bring about the big upswing.

I see your point about today but there were a decent amount of sells in amongst the cheap buys. However Friday pm it was noted elsewhere that a lot of sells were taken on board.

There definitely seems to me to be a change of action from the MM.

Just my opinion and we will see.

F3rdinand, have to agree with your recent 2 post's. And like you i can not understand SM's post 19599, 2nd paragraph, in which he says the mm's have been soaking up sells, when it is clear that there have been many more buys showing than sells and at a clear 2/2.5p discount to the 80p offer. Why have the mm's been allowing people to continue to buy and at hefty discount? The predictable answer points to someone has sold a large tranche and this has not been declared at present. If true then that is a shame because with all these announced buys today, you would have been looking at a share price of over 80p

I disagree Shrewd! The fact is there have hardly been any sells all day! Meanwhile the most I've been able to get a quote on to sell was 15k a few minutes ago! If 3 or 4 sells came through the price would fall considerably I reckon!

Someone's clearly offloading big time today! I'd expect to see a delayed 200k plus sell this evening or tomorrow! Without it we'd be well over 80p on this buying pressure!

Sorry it's not news related guys but anyone else noticed the difference last Friday and today.

I know all the reported trades aren't sells as buys going through below mid, however, there has been a real willingness by the mm's to soak up sells.

Last few months 2 or 3 sells together would hit the price.

Friday and today not the case.

Interesting to me anyway.

On the LxE bb someone is saying there is an article on sugar reduction and the gut involving Nestle in the Sun, page 2 I believe. They are asking if this involves OPTI. I haven't seen the article anyone read the Sun?!
