Adnan whole objective was to reduce his reliance on statins which caused him pain.
By using LP LDL he can keep within safe cholesterol limits and reduce the pain that statins caused!

Chris - you need to read the responses that one/two of the other posters have made to your point as it doesn't seem to be sinking in

Adnan's results tweeted by Opti themselves this afternoon. Not sure whether that's good or just looks a bit naff by picking up on bulletin board chit chat.

In danger of labouring an unwanted point but people are making totally incorrect assertions re Adnan's results.

It would be ridiculous to use the original cholesterol level as the start point for LPLDL as this was decreased due to the statin not LP LDL.

The cholesterol level actually went up after starting LP LDL so to claim benefit from it is scientific and statistical nonsense.

We will know more after a few more readings but let's not get carried away as if anything the rise in cholesterol is a little concerning.

I am as excited as anyone re the potential here not to mention the chance to make money but let's get the facts right.

Adnan's results confirm the superb results using a statin but tell us nothing about LPLDL.

It seems remarkable to me that a cholesterol level goes up and people then rejoice and claim it's gone down.

After saying all this I have great faith that manipulating the microbiome is the exciting future.

I will leave it at that on this point otherwise we will get bogged down but with respect I can assure you all that I am correct

Not true re no movement; I made a bucketful as I'm sure many others have done in OPTI after selling before April 5th when shifting in to ISA. Since then its been hard work.
Looking at the share price graph many others were doing the same.

Sold again this morning and trousered another grand, will buy back in when it bounces back of the ropes. The way things are going it appears to be the only way to make a profit since the share price appears to oscillate between the same higher and lower levels. Having said that there does appear to be a flag pole starting at 15th August and a pennant flag forming after it, which may indicate a breakout one direction or another?
I'm no expert on charts, but understood that pennants only work in strong trends which OPTI doesn't have, and that they should form over a shorter time scale. Maybe somebody with some expert knowledge could advise, as I'm only a beginner. Maybe these sort of indicators don't work with this type of share??

Elrico, it was the phrase I was commenting on. In an RNS back in January this year SOH referred to the start of the commercial phase. Of course this commercial phase will go on for years. I was just questioning how long he will keep referring to the start or beginning of the commercial phase. That's all.

Shrewdmole,
I have had two orders delivered buying from hxxps://www.hlh-biopharma.de/shop/
The homepage for the site is in German but this page and the rest of the transaction is in English. Delivery is reasonably quick, but was faster to the Isle of Man than the last one to France! From memory the first transaction was made through my Amazon acc, but the second one was done via PayPal. The cost of the 90 capsule pack was 39.90 euros and the shipping was 9.90 euros to France.

risky ... Fully understand it's not a replacement of statins but I'm still hoping for me will be. And I accept if this is good enough for Pharma's and OPTI make big then great from an investor perspective.

From a personal perspective, I'll be delighted if it keeps me within the acceptable level. I'm not expecting it to beat statins. However, reducing dosage of harmful statins but still continuing to take them would feel like a half baked success for my own personal situation.

The beginning of the commercial process (LP-LDL & SlimBiome) started in May, we are now in October. In this time OPTI have been very busy ironing out finer details of contracts expected to be announced over the next few weeks, some before Christmas. The commercial process will continue for years as each partner is developed. I suspect as these continues you will be less concerned with the "commercial phase" meaning and be more focused on counting your profits....assumption you are invested of course.

Guys LPLDL is not a replacement for statins. Adnans great results show that following replacing statins for LPLDL he has managed to keep his cholesterol levels within a healthy range. It's not expected to improve what is achieved by statins and for it to have kept the reduction so low over 3 months is brilliant. Thank you for sharing Adnan.Sohs recent reference to big pharma would be for LPLDL to be used as a combination therapy allowing people to reduce dosage of potentially harmful products like statins. This would obviously be attractive for consumers wanting to reduce side effects whilst also enabling big pharma companies to extend their patent applications. The consistency of results showing the lowering of blood pressure is phenomenal. LPLDL main competitor will be ingredients like Benecol who turn £100s of millions. The LPLDL ingredient as it stands uses a fraction of the amount at a fraction of the cost and is a superior product without doubt. I can not stress how unique and significant lowering blood pressure will be to this product going forward. When we are talking about a potential Statin replacement when Opti combined LPLDL with LPGOS (the sugar that TATA has just signed to manufacture) there was a threefold increase in the cholesterol reduction compared to LPLDL on its own. These results were found in gut models rather than humans, however as LPLDL has shown the human studies usually replicate gut model tests. This 'optibiotic' will be the optimised product that genuinely could challenge statins market share in the years to come.

Wasn't there some talk about LP-LDL helping to make Statins more effective?
Meaning that you could still take then, but less of them to have the same effect.
But I might have imagined it?

I have low cholesterol but high BP...I’m interested to know if this works well enough for me to ditch my daily Amlodopine and Ramipril which I currently take for BP reduction. They work fine with no obvious side effects, but I’d rather not take drugs if there’s a more natural solution.

My results still to come late November.

However just some thoughts, is 3 months on LPLDL too early to confirm success ? .. isn't it possible Adnans levels increase over the next 3-6 months to take his current 6 level above the acceptable 6.5 and then effectively back on statins ?

My starting point of 6.2 so is even closer to the acceptable level and if the performance mirrors adnans, ie good however does not quite match the statins, then I potentially will move to around 6.5 or more and then back on statins which will be a big disappointment for me personally.

I know it's not an exact science but wondering whether it will be good but just not good enough for me personally. Fingers crossed it is.

I think the interest from this bb alone - especially now we're hearing of real-world results - gives an idea of the interest there'll be once this hits the mass markets.

I know we are just a supplier of products/ingredients to the manufacturers (except for Gofigure)so we don't get to influence these things but wouldn't it be great to see a TV advert for a tablet that reduces Cholesterol and blood pressure - surely it would take off!
